Jackson Auto Parts & Machine Shop

I walked into this place at about 445 pm. I guess they close at 5. The old hispanic man at the counter was on the phone. He didn’t bother to greet, or acknowledge me. The other 3 people behind the counter stared in my direction, but emulated the old man’s behavior. He finally ended the phone call, at which time I greeted him and began to ask him a question. I only got three words out before he flicked his right hand at me to rudely dismiss me, and stated, «I don’t know». He walked away as though a potential customer did not matter. Let me paint the picture and let you know that this is a tiny, grimy, filthy place. It is poorly stocked and should be used as a filming location for the type of horror movie when people break down on a desolate, desert road far from civilization. Judging from the dust on the shelves and merchandise, coupled with the poor attitude of the business personnel, I doubt if they can stand to lose business, or alienate the public. If you want great prices; great choice of products, and real customer care don’t bother with this place. Keep going further west to Auto Zone, or east to Pep Boys. I entered a one star rating only because Unilocal requires you to do so in order to post the review. But in all honesty the rating should be a negative 5 stars. By the way, I am hispanic and therefore ethnicity was not a factor, or concern.
