Food is tasty a bit pricey for tacos and burritos, Menudo is good. No room to sit and eat.

I’ve been looking for a decent taco spot since I moved into the area in November and it looks like I found that and more. Walked in and was immediately greeted with a warm hello and a welcoming attitude. Having never been here they had us sample their homemade menudo (delicious) and their chile verde which was very good. I had never had a sope with frijoles con chorizo before and I must say I don’t think sopes will taste the same to me without them. Their special curtido and very well seasoned tender asada was absolutely delicious. Definitely coming back for more.

I went in to Jo’s had the menudo and taquitos which were both delicious deffinetally go back highly recommend service was also well welcomed

Service was great very attentive. I order Menudo it had a lot of flavor. I also order there chorizo taco that was really good.

The goods first… foods has good flavor… salsa is good…
The bad… it is over price… taco should be $ 1.30 now. At $ 1.69 it is high… The portion of meat is very good, but it is over priced…
The ugly… there is a very limited meat selections now… I had the El Pastor, but I do not think it is slices porks slow roasted on a stick. They just used grill pork.
This is a hole in the wall that is not cheap with limited selection of meats… will not be back…

If you really want an authentic home cooked meal… this is the place to go. I just devoured an awesome chile verde burrito with a home made red hot salsa on the side. Good job once again Jerry!

Tried this spot for lunch with the family. It was empty which was perfect. The Dining area only seats about nine people. They do offer delivery so at least if you want this food it can come to you for a minimum purchase.($ 20). The food was good and their salsas were all tasty. Guacamole! always a plus!!! The young lady taking our order was nice and helpful by letting us know the meat available for that day. She also let us taste the chile verde beforehand. Chile Verde nachos really stood out in flavor. We left talking about how good they taste. The torta de Milanesa wasn’t as soft as I would of liked but the taste made up for it. (recommend: cortido on the side)
This spot doesn’t offer a restroom and good luck finding one nearby. It’s a fairly new location & they have up’d their prices from 3 months ago. They are a little over priced. I will consider take out next time. I want to return to try the Menudo. (Sat&Sun)

Not 5 star worthy by any means. I was craving tacos and this place is walking distance to the house so I figured I would come here. Looking at the pics of the menu on Unilocal I saw lengua and cabeza listed. These were the tacos I wanted but when I came in the menu didnt have them listed. I over heard the guy working there say that they only have those meats on Thursdays now. Great.
When I came in the lady that takes orders was on the phone for about 10 mins taking a phone order. that was kind of annoying. Not sure what the 2 guys in the back were doing that they couldn’t take the orders of the people (myself and a couple with their kid) waiting to order so that things could get moving.
As another review has stated, it took forever for the tacos to come out. i was there probably 30 mins before my food came out. I ordered 3 tacos and they all came out at different times. and the fillings of the tacos fell into the plate and I did not see any forks available so I could eat that off the plate with some dignity.
Overall, service kind of shoddy, tacos ok, not much selection of meats. I knew I should have went to Cilantros on Whittier Blvd. I gave the new guy a chance and though it was ok, probably wont return.

Went to new taco place. Seen alot of 5 star reviews so i figured id gove it a go. as far as food goes its fresh good and tasty cant say much about it other than good quality asada and chicken. But if u go be expecting to wait. We waited over a ½ hr for 6 tacos and 2 orders of nachos. (Not fast food) the good side to that was fresh food… another thing about place is this is a small place no room to tale family and sit down i had to turn away my family and get food ro go. as far as service. nice lady but they forgot guac and crema on my nachos. not to happy about that and at last the minimal amount of tables the do have were all dirty. but that shouldnt be an issue if u get it to go. i like the food though that is good. just a few things u need to know. expect to wait and dont eat in. as far as all the 5 star reviews. all been purchased with a free taco. hope this helps.

Food is great customer service is amazing. My new favorite taco shop in Whittier. The chile verde is the best I’ve ever had!!! Love this place.

Holy moly!!! I had the asada burrito w/​guacamole and cheese. Bombay! Chorizo taco. yummy to my tummy. New taco spot in South Whittier check them out! This place is definitely something to TACO BOUT! I also sampled the Chile Verde. full of flavor! I will be coming back for that on my next visit. Great customer service and they deliver. Now back to my burrito…

I tired everything and it was all great, nice size portions. My new to go spot!!! Everyone is friendly

all i can say its that this is my new favorite spot to eat their customer service skills are by far way better than any of the mexican restaurants around i was totally wowed by their quality of food and service
i will be eating here again and again

Went in on Sunday to pick up some of their famous menudo (20 orders to be exact) soooo bomb and don’t even get me started on their tacos. Really friendly staff, always a plus and just a chill environment to eat. Definitely my Mexican food place, thanks Jos Tacos!

This restaurant I discovered thur Unilocal and the customer good reviews lead to give this place a try. We order Carne asada tacos and an order of Carne asada nachos, although I was expecting melted cheese on my nachos, they were still really good. The young lady in the cashier greeted us with a smile and I loved the friendly service, let me tell you, I’m big when comes to customers services being I that I’ve work for fortune 500 companies over 20yrs and the company I work for is all about customer experience being number one! If they continue this route, who knows how big this restaurant can grow, they also have delivery service so that’s really awesome. Now will I come again??? Definitely!!!

Went today to try them out, got a Carne asada burrito, it was very good, tasty. I sampled there carnitas, was also very good. Definitely going back, recommend this place to all.

They deliver! Ok so love this place so far! Great staff. place was very clean, good décor. A lot of Mexican restaurants in the Whittier area but nothing like this, I usually have to drive a few city’s away to get this style food. The tacos were so good. Asada is very flavorful, the Chilie Verde was super tender lots of flavor the hard shell tacos Amazing! My husband got the Chilie verde burrito. It was really good, he loved it. Can’t wait to come back! I might stop back in tomorrow. Lol.

I came for the grand opening and they had a 2 for 1 taco special!!! I got carnitas, chicken, and carne asada tacos… oh my goodness! The meat melts in your mouth! Hands down the best quality tacos I’ve ever had!

The chili verde is delicious! Definitely a do over. Carne Assad torts was very good. Meat seasoned perfectly, fresh ingredients and the bread was soft. Will definitely be back!
