I have also managed a Pinkberry Store in Boston at the time of the Boston Bombing. And yes I was there, I have extremely high standards when it comes to customer service. I’m a little late writing this review but better late then never. I had a problem with my ignition and I called to get a quote. Immediately JR told me that he would do some research to make sure that I actually had a ignition problem and he’d call me back. Lots of places that I called before him just told me they couldn’t help and that was that. I wasn’t even a customer and he made the extra effort. I didn’t end up using him because when he called me back, he let me know that it was probably a battery problem. I really appreciate his caring and helpful attitude. In the future if I have any lock and key problems I will be calling JR. Excellent customer service!

JR’s Lock and Key is amazing! I called JR to rekey a house in Whittier after I evicted a bad renter. He was there in 20 minutes and completed all the locks quickly, gave me new keys and all the locks worked great. He was wonderful to work with, professional and his price was fair. I strongly recommend him and would use him again.

JR is incredibly friendly and prompt. Rather than completely change the cylinder, he suggested modifying our existing cylinder and our existing keys. When my wife mentioned that I had a key and that I was at work, he offered to come back on a different day to modify my key. We’d totally use again!

The deadbolt on my security door at home broke and I needed a locksmith right away. I called another company but had no luck. I called JR and he was able to get to me in 30 minutes which was awesome! He was very nice and professional and I appreciate the quick work he did. If ever I find myself needing a locksmith again, I’m definitely calling him!

It’s not often you come across tradesmen who are punctual, professional, and fair. Sad but true. So for those rare times when you do, acknowledge it. JR showed up 20 minutes after the phone call, precisely the ETA he gave me. The patient was a 23 year old front door lock that had long been discontinued and was sticking so much that entry through the front door was almost impossible. He worked for the better part of an hour, cleaning and greasing, and when it was all said and done, we had our front door back. The bad news was that the internals had worn so badly that it was only a matter of time before the entire set needed replacing. The good news was that he’d do the lock replacement and rekeying, (so we can continue using our original keys) at a very reasonable price. Compared to 2 other quotes from locksmiths in my area, there’s no contest. If you’re in a pinch and need a locksmith, don’t hesitate to call JR. You can thank me later.
