I’ve driven by this place so many times without ever taking a glance, but this community center is such a gem! I came for a big birthday recently(150 guests) and it was held at the Walnut room. Awesome venue. Very clean. Great lighting and there was tons of space for the tables as well as a huge dance floor. Loved that there was a kitchenette area to the side that could accommodate the food and beverages. It also worked well since there was a buffet line too. There was also a back door near with a small parking area that was very helpful in unloading supplies. Since I’m a guest, I’m not privy to the cost or the details in renting out a venue for 5 hours but the staff there were very helpful. I believe that the staff was available to help set up the tables and chairs, as well as put them away. But the people who rented out the space was responsible for vacuuming, mopping the floor and taking out the trash. I’m pretty sure that the venue wasn’t too costly, since the staff only provided the basic needs. The rest of the community center has rooms for dance, music and other arts and crafts. Overall great local venue for parties/receptions, etc!

A recreational center for all ages Located by a lush-green park and a little petting zoo Last week, my friend V invited me to join her for a workshop here. The well lighted, high ceiling lobby, organized information counter; lounge, library, and clean spacious rooms for workshops were impressive. The friendly staff gave me a 2011 class schedule which was full of community activities and arts and craft workshops. Detailed listings are of fun things to do and learn. Most of the classes are free. For free or not free classes, please go to Many interesting workshops and activities are on going in this center: Creative Writing, Computer, and Creative Painting; Line Dancing, Tai-Chi, Needlework, and Digital Camera Tutorial. Informational programs for Senior Nutrition, legal assistance, and support groups are available. Group trips have been to County Fairs, Catalina Island, Natural Histor Museum, and«Pageant of the Masters» live show at the Laguna Beach. Relax under the stars, share a picnic basket with family and friends at the Summer Concerts on Thursdays. Fun! Learning! Get involved!
