Quality Automotive the Vw Honda Acura Connection

Jerry has been working on my 2004 beetle for years he is honest and fair and has kept my car in great shape I highly recommend any VW owner to Go see jerry.

They are my go to mechanic! I found them from the Car Talk radio show’s mechanic recommendation website. They fit me whenever I need to come in and are fast and dependable!
EDIT: I got in a slight accident and they had an estimate for fixing it. I told them that if they found anything else to call my dad before doing anything. They wrote down his number and I had to leave on a trip. I come back and find that the bill has doubled since the estimate, and that they never called my dad before replacing additional parts. It was a little surprising and upsetting, but I don’t think they’d be the kind to purposefully mislead or overcharge, I just wish they had done what I asked them to and called before replacing expensive parts.

Finally I’ve found a mechanic I can trust! Jerry and his son are the most polite and honest people I’ve ever dealt with in this business. Jerry told me exactly what my car needed, gave me options depending on how much I wanted to spend. He even offered to tell me what was wrong in case I wanted to fix it myself. I could have but I was so impressed by their honesty that I couldn’t help but give him the work. Honesty like that should always be rewarded. No one else will ever get to work on my car. I recommend this place to anyone.

I have been taking my cars to Jerry and Carlos for over ten years, after being referred by a friend of mine who had been coming to them even longer. I would never ever go anywhere else. My son, wife, and daughter are all now Quality converts, and I have sent several other friends here. Every single one of them has thanked me, and become life-​long customers.
Jerry is so honest and trustworthy, it’s amazing in this day and age. He will tell you quickly, honestly, and politely what work REALLY needs to be done, what can wait till later, and what doesn’t need to be done at all. He obviously has built his business on loyal and dedicated customers. Carlos runs the front desk, and is the nicest guy you’d ever want to meet. Together (and now with Jerry’s son), the are the absolute BEST foreign car repair place you will ever find!

Shout out to Jake! I brought in my 89′ dodge van and he and the team gave me the best customer service possible. I basically got a brand new van after coming to Charles Automotive. I told them I needed my van ready in a week and they called me daily giving me updates along the way. They worked past business hours and on the weekend (normally they are closed Saturday and Sunday). I will never go anywhere else except here to get work done on any vehicle of mine. Thank you for everything guys!

These guys are great. I had my Lexus GX470’s alternator replaced. Initially, I was tempted to take the car to the dealer but after seeing their reviews and a family friend recommending them, They got a shot.
To make a long story short, they really came through and take pride in their work. They put the first replacement alternator in only to take it out. They put the 2^nd one in, checked it out and finished after their regular business hours. There’s a lot of «Fly By Night» auto shops but these guys are anything but that.
I would encourage anyone looking for a reliable and caring mechanic to take their vehicle there. If they could get 6 stars, I’d give it to them!

Jerry and Carlos are the most honest people I have known in the automotive industry. I have brought multiple vehicles to them for diagnostic /​repair and they have NEVER failed me. Always competitive pricing (taking into consideration their skill and certifications) and always well organized. They have always kept me updated with the repair process and have made me feel cared for unlike other mechanics.
Jerry and his employees are the MOST organized mechanics I have ever seen. I have been in the automotive industry for a seven years and I am sure others reading this have as well, but these guys keep their shop very well organized which to me only means the best repairs with little time wasted.

I have a troublesome beetle that has a lot of issues. It is very important to me that I have a place I can take my car and know that it will be taken care of and I won’t be taken advantage of. As a woman it is always a concern of mine that I am treated fairly and they always take extra time to explain all the repairs. I won’t take my car anywhere else!

Jerry and Carlos are two brothers who own and work the shop.
If competence, honesty, fair pricing, and customer care are the 4 essentials for an auto shop, Jerry is tops.
We have been taking our Nissans to him for many years. On several occasions I have had things diagnosed at the dealer. When I see their $ 130/​hour billing I bring my van to Jerry to see what he says. Usually, half of the things spec’d for repair don’t need it (or at least not yet). And his pricing comes in around 60%. He’s also certified for Hybrids and that has been a plus for us since getting our Altima Hybrid on ’10.
Twice (in maybe 7 years of 2 cars) he missed something. In both cases he acknowledged it and made it right.
Carlos will let you know if they can do it same day or not.
My wife trusts them and is happy to give them our business.

Jerry and Carlos are the best! As a single woman going in for automotive repair I am usually taken advantage of, but not at Quality Automotive! I really appreciate their honest quality work. They now have all my auto needs for the future. Sorry Jiffy lube.

I’ve never been that happy with any mechanic I’ve gone to in the past. I’m a girl, I’m not incredibly knowledgable about cars, but I know enough to tell if I’m not getting good service or a fair deal. The last mechanic I went to in Whittier *fixed* a problem with my car and then a little after a year the problem came back. The warranty was no longer valid and I just didn’t trust taking my car back to that mechanic a second time anyway. So I went to Quality Automotive on a whim to get a quote on getting the same repairs done. They quoted me WAY less than what I was quoted at the previous mechanic to replace 2 parts. They kept my car overnight and called me the next morning letting me know one of the parts didn’t need to be replaced. How nice, I was going to save even more money! So I walked out with a car running better than it’s run in 4 years, paying less than I’ve paid any at mechanic EVER, and never feeling stressed or pressured by anyone there.
On a side note, big thanks to Jerry Rubio at Quality Automotive. Such a friendly guy. He listens, he’s respectful, and just from my first experience there I’d say that he’s honest and does a great job. He’s my go-​to guy now. I’ve never had one before.

Have been using Quality for my cars, first a Toyota pickup and later a Honda CR-​V, for years. Good service with quick turn around time and no headaches unlike when I would use the dealer locations.

Love Jerry and Carlos. They have always been trust worthy and have serviced my Vanagon since I bought it in 1999. Prior to that, they serviced my Civic for 8 years before I sold it. I have never been ‘sold’ anything that I really didn’t need. Very honest and trust worthy.
