Our team of experienced dental professionals are ready to give you the personalized dental care that you require. We offer such services as veneers, crowns, lumineers, root canals and teeth whitening. Or patients can receive restorative dentistry procedures for their dental implants and dentures. We also feel that visiting a dentist should be as stress free as possible. For your convenience, Dr. Parminter provides blankets, pillows and soothing music to set a relaxed and stress-​free atmosphere. We also offer IV and oral sedation to help ease any dental anxiety you may have. As a Whittier family dentist, Dr. Parminter takes appointments for children as well as adults.

History

Established in 1992.

Dr. Robert S. Parminter attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and received a Bachelor of Science in Environmental and Systematic Biology in 1987. He continued his education at Loma Linda University and acquired his second Bachelor of Science in Human Biology on June 11, 1992. During this time, while attending Loma Linda Dental School, he attained a degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery, which he received on June 19, 1992. Dr. Parminter is a member of the Whittier Chamber of Commerce, in the past he has donated his time in the Whittier community as a secret Santa through the Post Office, is involved in and with the Whittier Y’s Men, the Indian Princess program with his three daughters and has donated free dental care to under privileged families. He and his wife are involved with their church Whittier Area Community, and help the families in need in their community.

Dr. Parminter served on the Ethics Committee Board for Loma Linda Dental School from 1991 to 1992 prior to moving to Whittier. Dr. Parminter wanted to continue in his father’s footsteps and in 1992 became a vital part of an already thriving dental practice his father started in 1960. Dr. Parminter was awarded The American Dental Association Meritorious Service Award for the services he provided to the people of Brazil in 1994. He has been a member in good standing with The Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and San Gabriel Dental Association since 1992. He is the past President of The Whittier Dental Society, the 1999 – 2000 session.
