The Wash On Valley View

After moving to Whittier, I tried several different car washes in the area but this is the best place by far, and since I found it nearly 4 years, it’s the only place I bring my car to. People are very friendly, service is good quality, they take their time with your car. Which is the only real downfall, it takes a long time, but it’s worth it. Just come when you have about 1 — 1.5 hours to devote to your car.

They’re great here… just don’t pay the extra $ 3 for the quick wax. It left my car with streaks. I’ve had my carwash done here a few times and I’ve been overall satisfied. They’re super friendly and pay attention to detail. This time around I went all out because it had been a while since my last carwash ahahahaha! It was the only time I’ve ever seen this residue on my passenger side.

The guys at Valley View always does a fantastic job. I always come here when my car is in need of a deep hand wash cleaning. The wait is a bit longer than other places, but it takes time to do the job right.

Attention to detail! I am so particular about my car and these guys cover every nook and cranny for a reasonable price. Not always the fastest, but I do not mind that for what they achieve. This is the only car wash I take my car too.

Came for a quick car wash (took 1 hr 20mins). I know it takes long almost an hour every visit because is always busy. Today was no exception. Getting to the place, a gentleman helped me. I asked for #4 just the basic $ 15.99. The guy mentioned about his huge deal which included no the #4 car wash plus my car will get wax sealed a (something like that) and deodorant for ONLY $ 23.99, since I felt my car needed a major deep cleaning and they had nice deodorant options I went for it (was feeling fancy today! Hehe) and pay at the front for my huge car wash deal. My two stars review comes from being the third visit…

that I experienced dirty Windows, they are smudged front & back, side to side. I think they use towels to dry them. They don’t actually clean them with chemical or (idk) glass cleaner? My passengers side had dust on the door. I know why this happened, the guy kept leaving my car alone for periods of time. So I’m guessing it air dry. That’s why I have major water marks on the car too. I was looking forward on trying out their more fancy packages but if this is how they’ll clean my car I rather stick to usual package #4. Can’t even smell the damn jasmine deodorant :(Must say, I’m very disappointed, this is not the first time I get bad service and really liked this place but so far has been a no no for me :(I’m still hoping for the best and I’ll give it a last shot, not soon since I’m going to have to clean out the watermarks and smudges myself! (Mad face)

For what I pay at this location I shouldn’t have water spots and I shouldn’t have to clean my car some more when I get home. That’s the whole point of me going to a car wash, so I don’t have to do it myself.
Gave them a few tries and every time is a different issue. Save your money and do it yourself or go somewhere else. Not worth the headache.

I love this place! have been coming here for 2years now they do a GREAT job and always friendly. I usually drop my car off and run in the neighborhood while they wash instead of waiting but they do have places to sit and you can watch tv if you choose to.

Been here quite a few times. Car always looks like new when I leave! Employees and the person at the register are always nice also. Prices are fair also.

in my 10+ years visiting different car washes… this place is by far THE BEST car wash I have ever been to. i drive 30 minutes just to get my car washed here. it’s worth the drive and the wait to have these guys clean and wash my car. I pay and tip with a big smile on my face every time.
they always do a meticulous job! I wish they had a location closer to me. whatever they’re doing they need to keep it up!

Started bringing my wife’s new car here because nothing touches the car except water, soap, waxes and towels. Pretty happy with the work.

This place as far as service is hands down one of the best I’ve ever been to. I’m particular about most hand washes on my black Jeep Wrangler. Other than the long wait (at least an hour to an hour and a half * plan ahead for it!) I do like that they are thorough in their work. Also here I’m not up charged just because I have a truck and they also quickly honor the Unilocal discount. No problem! I’ll just keep adding the difference to the tip. Job well done.

I have bragged this place up in the past to friends and family. Waiting to speak with the owner: will let you all know the outcome this Unilocal is a first for me really really pissed.

Jorge did a BEAUTIFUL job on my car, probably the best I’ve gotten anywhere! I hope the manager sees this and recognizes his hard work! He is also a very friendly and nice person — wish I could make appointments with him! My car looks brand new, the interior and exterior are spotless. He took soooo much time taking care of my car, making sure that it was perfect. I was very impressed, all other places I’ve been to have never gotten close to how clean he made it. The prices are reasonable & about average I believe. I did something off the menu which had carpets shampooed, not sure what else the specific names of the services included were called, but whatever they were — it made my car gorgeous. The cashier was also very friendly and the bathrooms were surprisingly clean! It was my first time here and I will definitely be a regular for now on. My whole family is already shocked at how great my car looks and are looking forward to making a visit! Thank you Jorge!

This Car Wash Totally destroyed my canvas Convertible top today. It looks like they scrubbed it with a wire brush and took the color out of it!!! Avoid this place unless you want your car damaged!

I been to many different car wash places so here goes. I think when writing a review of a car wash place it based mostly on the one person you got to clean your car. The guy I got did an amazing job! I have never had my car cleaned like that. He cleaned every single part of my car an he didn’t rush. Every other car wash I been to just does a mediocre quick job and I’m out of there fast. For the price I paid here I definitely got more than what I paid for.
This car wash is very busy so it is going to take a long time. That’s the only part I didn’t like so next time I’m coming really early.

Great job!!! Friendly, thorough, and very helpful! I had some blood stains on my backseat (it was from an unfortunate female issue). They not only took the stains out they washed and cleaned my car in such a detailed way! Thank you guys! I highly recommend this place!!!

Honestly, if I can give 0 stars I would. I thought after my 1^st Unilocal review my 2^nd time would be better but nope, it got worse. Even the automatic car wash is better than what they did to my car.
THIS PLACE SUCKS!!! WASTE OF MONEY!!!
The guy that wiped my car had headphones on and was looking away the whole time. He used a red colored rag that shredded all over my car! There were dried water marks all over my car! What the hell is wrong with these people?! It’s called a freakin car wash! UGHHHH!!! Yes, I’m super posset coz I payed 23.99 for a poor job done!!!

Unilocal deal, for the win. Saved $ 3 on the basic wash, which is normally $ 13.99. Essentially, paid $ 10 for a exterior handwash + vacuum. I ended up waiting 40+ minutes for my car, but it’s because the guys here are diligently working to clean every spot off of your car. Impressive!

I like my first experience here. I used to go to another place further from my home on Beach and Malvern. Don’t know why I kept going there… I got the most basic wash at 15.99 but paid 12.99 thanks to Unilocal discount of 3 dollars. My baby had a lot of water spots and dirt from surprise rain the other day and now it’s super clean again. Rims are shiny and body is glowing! It’s so clean my little dings are too noticeable. :/
I’m definitely coming here from now on.
