The worst service ever, I was told I only needed an oil change and it shouldn’t take long. I got there with an earliest appt possible. It took them 3 hours to complete an oil change. The service manager was very condescending and gave me an attitude when I asked if the car was ready. I don’t think I will ever comeback to this place. Ruined my morning.

If you are a pushover, do not go near this dealer!
My 92 year old father just had his Toyota Camry serviced here. He purchased this certified used car from Toyota of Whittier last year and has driven it only a few hundred miles. The brakes were pulsating so he took it in to have it checked out. Being an easy target due to his poor hearing and age, he ended up with a $ 4,000 repair bill. Even though it did not leak oil at all, they said they needed to fix an oil leak, replace parts on the rack and pinion steering system and replaced all four rotors on the brakes. Selling him a car which they told him was in good shape and then hitting him with a repair bill like this is highly unethical!

I purchased a 2016 Corolla LE from this dealer in June. I cannot tell you how pleasant my experience was. From the beginning, Chrys in Internet sales gave me the best price on the car; other dealers eventually matched the offer, but Whittier also included a LoJack with the car. I had told Chrys that I was interested in either the silver or white color; she had both available for me to look at and test drive. The entire purchasing process took less than an hour. Chrys had everything ready, and there was no push for me to buy additional features. The visit with the finance department was shockingly pleasant; again, no push to buy extras I didn’t want. 10 minutes and a few signatures and I was ready to go. Why don’t all dealers treat their customers this way? Awesome dealership.

I had an amazing car buying experience here and that was in large part to Alex Alvarado! He put me at ease and answered my many questions. Car buying can be an overwhelming process even with the research we had done. Alex did not make me feel pressured into anything and I am so happy with my car! I ended up with a 2016 Rav4 and it is everything I wanted and more. Alex took time to go over everything that the car does and how to work it with me. Everyone we encountered was lovely and made sure we had anything and everything we needed. Even the General Sales Manager Mike made time to see if we needed anything. I really couldn’t have asked for anything else.

Great communication with our service advisor Ben Hur. Thank you for taking great care of my daughter under the warranty on her Prius. She is one happy gal and so appreciate the full on car wash certificate down the street. You were honest and I now we will be your lifetime customer. Came in, told Ben what the problem was, he said I’ll take it from here and was just awesome. Give this guy a raise. No seriously!

Great local dealership. Smaller than other Toyota dealers, which makes the buying experience more personable. Purchased my Corolla here — the transaction was quick and easy.

Had car service scheduled time. TOYOTA met my time frame (7:00 am), completed my 30,000 service (8:45 am) and I even got a free car wash (which I did have to ask for)!
Loved the service. Each person friendly, the service rep KC, the porter, the driver hat shuttled me home and back, and even the cashier!
I will be back again!!!

After many weeks of research and negotiations, Paul Olding at Toyota of Whittier gave me an absolutely great deal on a new Sienna. Paul was courteous, succinct, professional and, most importantly, gave me a sweet deal. He made the buying process as painless as possible. With a thorough test drive and final inspection, I was able to complete my purchase within a couple of hours.

Considering how busy they are here on a Saturday, I didn’t have to wait too long. Got an honest quote and no up-​sell. I was even offered a ride to local restaurants, because they’re under construction and waiting area was cramped, but I declined.

This place sucks. I had an appointment for 7am for an oil change. I know how the damn line is in the morning so I got there at 630am and was first in line. I called them at 11am to find out that my car was ready. So I waited at the donut shop near them for 4 HOURS for an oil change. WHAT???

I recommend this dealership and recommend you talk to Julian if your looking to buy/​lease a car my new friend is knowledgable and very professional this guy is awesome I walk out with two Corolla’s I strongly suggest to promote Julian from sales to a management he very knowledgeable in his product and he was the reason why e bought 2 Corolla… He skills should be use to trained other and he professionalism goes a long way. I will consider buying from Toyota of Whittier only if Julian is still there when I go, I can’t say enough about Julian and how greatfull we are … Thank you and God Bless to my New Friend.

Traded in my used 2010 Prius for a brand new 2016 Prius. Worked with Chrys in the Internet department and Jesse in financing again. They made the process so easy and simple, will definitely buy from them again!

So I bought my brand new car here and they offer you free service for up to 25k miles. I brought it here for the first time in my new car. They called me to come in, and I had to wait for my boyfriend to take me. When I went back for it, it was closed! I saw it was open until 9, but that was only the sales department. Got there around 6:45 pm they closed at 6pm. Luckily a lady was walking near by and noticed I was upset. She told me she would get someone. They found Mauricio and he was nice enough to help me out, but then he couldn’t find my key… He made some calls finally found my key and gave it to me along with the paper work. Checked the paper work, they had «checked» everything on my car. Not even 15 minutes later the tire pressure light turn on, now if they checked it why would it turn on??? The only reason I went to that location is because it’s for free. Would NOT spend money here if I had too, not worth it.

After a decade of taking my Highlander into Toyota of Whittier, my last two visits have been quite eye opening and I’ll no longer be coming here for my service and parts. The thing that upset me the most was the grossly inflated repair charges that no one should ever pay.
Strike one — Tire inflation light goes on last year. I’m told to replace tire sensor and quoted $ 330 to replace. I decline. I take my car to a local large mechanic, tells me that my spare tire needs to be inflated, inflates said tire, light hasn’t been on since.
Strike two — Told my rear oxygen sensor needs to be replaced that same time last year. I’m quoted $ 320. I decline. The light has recently gone on again, that same part somehow skyrocketed to $ 470. Mind you, this is for the same part and labor from my previous quote.
Strike three (and the most disgusting) — My car is at 140k miles and 10 years old, it’s reaching a point where it’s going to need some work. That’s a given. My last visit I’m hit with everyone’s worse fear of a laundry list of preventative and current issues with my car. The quotes I receive, are, absolutely, absurd. I had to get a second opinion. Again, I call up local, large mechanic. Price comparisons were incredible. Same part, same labor. Catalytic Converter: Toyota quote ($ 2100), other guy ($ 700). O2 Sensor: Toyota ($ 470), other guy ($ 200). Water Pump: Toyota ($ 620), other guy ($ 320).
Please, please, please, look around for a certified and trust worthy mechanic. Check google reviews, repair pal, and call for quotes. I’ve said hundreds by cutting ties with Toyota, and I’m sure thousands by the time I decide to get rid of my car. I understand choosing a dealership while your car is new or still under warranty is probably best, but otherwise, you have many, many, options. Save that money you would have spent at Toyota, on a pallet of tacos or something. I’m out.

Good service great prices awesome team love dealing with Albert in the Internet department and Jose Luis in financing. I’ve bought 2 cars from them and they have never disappointed me. The process is fast easy and they are always upfront of what they can offer me. None of this going back forth BS trying to negotiate a price. They usually have the best deal for me right out of the gate.
If you are looking for a new or used toyota and are looking for a good deal and want to walked out of a dealership with your dignity intact than this is the place to go!!! And like I said, ask for Albert and Jose Luis… They are solid old school type of guys.

Really great car service experience with «KC» (Kasem). He really helped take care of my car after I had an accident and messed up a lot more than I thought. They were very attentive. Ended up having to keep my car overnight due to more maintenance than we initially thought. Got a phone call regarding it and KC was very kind with options and services. They were able to take me home after I dropped it off and pick me up the next day when it was ready.
The only issue I had was during my payment. I was using my credit card and it was «declining» but when calling the bank, they stated that no transaction came through. After several attempts and frustrating conversations they were willing to help and had the driver take me to the bank to get a cashier’s check — aware of the situation, the Toyota driver really saved the day! He suggested we should manually enter the card number and such, brilliant! It then worked and I was on my way.
Other than that minor hiccup, it was a great car repair experience which is why I still gave them 5 stars. Toyota please update your CC machine.

Worst dealership ever — Greasy, tacky and sleazy salesmen with attitudes that match!
I had spoken with with Richard Marroquin, Fleet Manager on the phone. I had an appointment with him at 6 p.m. For a minute I had forgot his name. As I walked up I was greeted by an unsavory salesman. I informed him that I had an appointment but was not sure of the name. He told me that he had been waiting for me! I was put off by this unsavory salesman. I felt very uneasy, I later learned that he was not Richard but another sales person trying steal his sale.
My intuition was to run! I should have. We worked out a deal but only to find out once I was passed to the Finance Manager that they were not going to honor the price but inflate the with add on that were not disclosed. Do not do business with these crooks!
They tried to add on fees such as lojack $ 695 and a warranty $ 1895.
These were not discussed in the price. I asked them to remove the lojack, they responded it was not an option. They said the owner had it installed on all the vehicles and there was absolutely no way it could be removed. The Finance Manager got so angry and became belligerent. My husband & I walked out.

Decent customer service!
I have a new Prius c that I take here to get serviced! So far, I’ve had a great experience and am looking forward to see their remodeling their office within the next six months. Hopefully it has a better area for customers. This place is always booked with tons of customers trying to get their cars serviced.

Richard M., to not extend the courtesy of giving me your business card just because you thought you didn’t have a deal and I prevented you from giving my daughter a horrible deal on a lease is no reason for being rude and lacking courtesy. You should treat your customers with the same courtesy and respect as you would your family members. I was in the dealership for 10 minutes and will never return. I’ll go get my Corollas, 4Runners elsewhere. My first car was a 1979 Corolla. I have faith in the brand and product but at this moment no tin the sales force.

Unilocal has been erasing the negative pictures citing privacy when the pictures are on the company website. I walked in the place a few weeks ago to ask if they were paying off Unilocal to clean their image and there little Richard (goes by Dick) was in the Internet sales team as i looked around I did not like the prices so I left with no issues and knowing the worse customer service salesman is no longer dealing with live people
Of all the reviews I have ever written, this will be my first negative review. I had received a quote from USAA car buying service which takes the haggling out of buying a car… here’s my discount, I want it BAM. I called them first of all to see if they had the car in stock… I was informed by Richard the supposed fleet manager that they indeed did have the exact car I wanted in stock… I drove over 30 min to get to this dealer only to find out Richard Lied to me as he stated he had it in his warehouse, making it seem like his warehouse is around the corner when indeed the car was still at the port and was not released to his dealership.
I informed him I had went to Longo Toyota and showed him my USAA Car Buying certificate to get that price for the car (I would have stayed at Longo but he told me it was in stock. Foolish me). When I showed him the piece of paper he immediately got mad and told me that Longo had lied to me and had two cars in stock that I wanted and just didn’t want my business because I tried using the internet car buying service from USAA
At that point I was very disappointed in his behavior and let him know that Long never lied and I could prove it, he was just mad because I pulled out a pre-​negotiated price at the end of his work day. I understand the little wiggle room when it comes too sought after cars but his deception, lies upon lies and overall behavior is unacceptable. I walked out letting them know I was going to call corporate… a few other people who heard me seemed to walk out not wanting to get a screwed as he tried to screw me. Shame on this organization… from now on I will not shy away from Longo. I am going to post a picture of my online quoted price even though he wanted 35 grand and probably over 40 out the door when I was quoted 30.5
