Please trust me on this!!! This guy is a thief. My Father has been Technician for 40 years and I know a thing or two. I took my car to this THIEF Jimmy for a smog and he opened up my hood and saw a performance intake than did the test and said it passed but it didn’t pass because of this intake then this guy had the nerve to charge me after he knew it wouldn’t pass but still did the test anyways!!! Jimmy is not honest a honest person would of said he this is not going to pass fix it than come back but no he wanted to be a thief. I don’t care what these other reviews say this guy is not honest. He Is a THIEF!!!

I’ve been coming here for years to get my smog checks. I pay 40 for smog check and certificate and usually done as I wait within 45 minutes.
The mechanics are super nice and honest about what you need done to your car if anything is wrong.

If you’re looking for a reliable place to take you’re vehicle for smog or otherwise, this is the place. I have taken my vehicles to Tune Tech over the years and have always had great experiences.
Jim and his staff are reliable and timely. Additionally, Jim is very good at communicating costs and options.
The use good parts and work with you to get you up and running.

I have been going to Tune Tech on and off for the past 15 years. They always do a quality work. The team is courteous, professional, and complete all work on time. Never had any problem with their work.

I came here a few weeks ago because my car had some trouble idling. I know how shady mechanics can be and I never trust anything they say. I left the car on a Thursday and the next day he diagnosed the problem. He had had to keep it there overnight because it wasn’t having the idling problems during the day (since the car was warm). They narrowed it down to the Intake manifold and quoted me a very reasonable price (Checked with a trusted source and confirmed the price was cheap for the work being done),
The car has been running great since, no more idling problems. Before this trip, I had spent $ 600+ for a mechanic to do a tune up, change this and that and he didn’t locate the problem.
I was changing batteries myself one day and while swapping, I broke one of the connectors. It was very damaged and rusty. I took my car over to them and they replaced it for $ 10 including labor! That’s crazy! Never taking my car anywhere else.
