Chisholm Creek Pet Resort

We took our chihuahua to stay for a week and when we received her, her collar was on super tight. Her neck was extremely red and raw from obvious yanking of the collar. She would not stop crying. Her stomach was huge from not being taken out for the restroom for who knows how long. When we dropped her off the staff was extremely rude. The lady yanked her from my arms and yanked her leash trying to get her to go with her. Definitely not caring or gentle with the animals. Not only was she yanking my dog but she almost killed my dog by releasing the latch to the little door to go outside. Our dog was walking in from inside and released the door before she made it in all the way causing her to get scared and run and almost get hit. Will not be taking her back.

Very disappointed! I left my dog here for seven days and what did I get? Blood drops on his bedding with no explaination! I did not get any information on him during or after his stay & have no idea how things went for him. In other words, no «report card» or pictures as a previous reviewer mentioned. I paid good money & I am just supposed to imagine that everything went well,? I expect some info & proof that my dog was not ignored. Also, after I picked him up, he was very thirsty & used the bathroom a lot. They had said, and charged me, for playtime for all seven days. Additionally, he was filthy! No, I would not trust anyone’s «word» only, on his stay. Not when they can not be held accountable!

We have a 11 weeks old Boston Terrier puppy and we wanted to register him for the puppy class. We talked to them over the phone and registered for the puppy training class, everything went fine. We were told to come on Tuesday for the class. As we walked in with our puppy the front desk lady was already confused since she could find our information. She looked annoyed. Finally she found it and told us to choose Saturday class instead. We had to explain to her that our schedule does not work for Saturday. Then she said that the puppy has to be at-​least 3 months old, when it says in the website that the puppy classes are for the puppies 10 to 22 weeks.
We both took a day off to take our first puppy to his first puppy class. We were so excited to see the little guy getting trained but they turned us down giving random excuses. It was not professional at all. We are not going there ever again. They need to correct the wrong information in their website so they wont waste people’s time.

I used to take my dogs to another boarding facility, but when they were booked over the holiday they recommended Chisholm Creek. Since then I have been hooked. They have indoor/​outdoor facilities so the dogs can go in and out through out the day. They have an amazing day camp that is outside and not so long that dogs just stand around. The first time I took them there they took pictures of my girls playing and wrote me a little report card! It was great knowing that they took the time to make me feel good about leaving my furry children there. They have groom facilities and always time it so they are dry when I pick them up! They have great hours and the staff is always helpful and prices are very good!

I took my little guy here for spring break recently. When I dropped him off, I told the girl up front he was to have doggy day camp on Tuesday and Thursday. All went well while we were gone.
We got back the following week to pick him and they charged me $ 13 for doggy day camp on Monday. The same day I dropped him off and clarified that I only wanted day camp on Tuesday and Thursday. The girl in front said she swears they didnt do it on purpose yet we still paid for it even though we didnt request it that day.
We were tired having just got off the plane and didnt have the energy to argue about it. We just wanted to see our dog.
All in all, I WOULD bring my dog back here but only if there werent any other kennels available nearby. Being that we got charged for something we didnt request, it loses 2 stars. Just make sure you clarify, and then clarify again at the front desk because you dont want to get charged for something you didnt ask for.
