Hello everyone, me and my wife are truck drivers for hobby lobby. We were in route to Washington state and looking for a decent meal. I Unilocaled bbq and hog wild had a 4 star rating. I read a review where one guy said they had the best bbq he’d ever had and that the service was fast and courteous. So we went. They had places near by to park the semi. We ordered a half rack of ribs, baked beans, Cole slaw, one bbq baked potatoe fully loaded that we split because they are pretty large. and apple cobler. If you have never had a BBQ baked potato before this will be a treat. It comes with a baked potato butter onion chives BBQ brisket chopped on top of it cheese and I’m probably forgetting something but it is really tasty and it’s really filling all by itself. The person whose review I read was totally correct in the fact that the service was fast and the staff was friendly. They even shared tips on how to barbecue beef vs pork ribs and what kind of wood to use etc. I believe I would be in total agreement with the review that we read that stated that this was the best BBQ ever I’m not sure on all of it but I will say definitely the best pork ribs I’ve ever eaten. The ribs were so good that they make me want to go home and start practicing right away to try to compete very good very tasty BBQ. Sauce was basted just right the edges of the ribs were nicely seared and the flavors came to together perfectly. I would highly recommend this BBQ establishment to just about anyone. very great service very tasty food, portions were generous. I hope this helps, awesome place nothing more needs to be said!!! Okay one more thing needs to be said, the quality of the ribs they told me they were Kansas cut ribs pork ribs that were very meaty these are not those fatty style ribs like country boneless ribs these have the bone in but the meat is so delicious they’re worth dealing with the bone plus the meat falls right off of the bone so basically no problem there. One last thing once again PS pS do you want good barbecue? Then go here!

Very good Bbq for wichita. Always consistent with each and every meal. The lobby can be a little dirty at times during the rush, but over all the food is very good

I love BBQ and trying to eat a little more healthy, so I usually order smoked turkey. Maybe I just visited this place at a bad time, but the service was lacking and unfortunately the turkey was very dry. They placed BBQ sauce directly on my turkey which I do not prefer but I found myself placing even more on it just to help moisten it enough to swallow. The sides were pretty decent but nothing special.

The. Best. Barbecue. I. Have. EVER. Had — period. We stopped in for dinner while passing through town a couple of weeks ago. We arrived around 7:30pm. My husband and I both ordered the ½ rack of ribs with 2 sides. I used the regular sauce on the table, he used the hot. Oh my gosh! Mine was the most flavorful, balanced, and finger-licking barbecue I have ever enjoyed! I travel often and far, so I’ve tried TX, NC, OK,(yes, even California) and Kansas City BBQs among others. NONE of it compared to this rich, smokey, slightly sweet taste! The pork was juicy and practically fell off the bone. I couldn’t live without the sauce so I bought some to take home. I have used the sauce twice now and each time it transformed my own food from average into memorable. DONOT pass this place up if you crave barbecue! Also, this restaurant is very convenient to I-35 — easy off and back on again.

I have eaten here a couple times on business trips to the ‘Ta. The ribs and chopped beef are good. The sides are nothing special; nothing home made. Friendly staff and decent middle of the road BBQ, but not bad.

We were there 05⁄18&05/19/2013…first evening we had a dog in car, got everything to go! Second evening we settled in seats with meal and tornado sirens went off… so got everything to go to get to hotel! Very satisfied with food, meant to write review sooner. When visit again we will be back.

I have to give huge thanks to the manager of this store, who took care of a problem immediately when I called. In fact he more than took care of the problem, he went above and beyond. I love their food here, especially the hot links. It’s like crack! We don’t order out at lunch very often any more, but eating here is always a treat. A big plus, the staff is always so nice every time I go there. I’ve eaten at a couple of the other stores but the 47th street staff is THEBEST! I’ve been eating there as long as they have been open and it’s consistently good. The people there really care that you have a good experience. If we eat BBQ, this is where we go!

I love BBQ and I loved this place. I had a Carolina pulled pork sandwich, just fantastic. I love the crunch of cole slaw on a BBQ pork sandwich. This place is busy at lunch and justifiably so. As is typical at BBQ joints you order and then pick up all in one fell swoop at the front. The food comes up lickety split. I’m looking forward to trying a few other things on the menu, maybe ribs next time.

Being a Texas boy, I know good BBQ. Not in that snotty, ‘this isn’t mesquite smoked?’ kinda way but rather I’ve had enough to know if I would want to come back. With that in mind: no, I’m ok with not coming back. For a BBQ joint just off the interstate it wasn’t terrible but nothing really was memorable. The pulled chicken was ok but served cold, the chopped beef was served hot but managed to fall short. The two sauces at the table were delicious and the sole reason that I feel they deserve 3 stars. I was excited to try some Kansas BBQ when driving through, and I picked the wrong place to stop.

Not gonna lie, I freakin’ love this place. I come in to town on business and inevitably, I end up here during lunch on one of those days. It’s fast, the people are friendly, the prices are fine. But above all, the food is spectacular. My favorite is the pulled pork sandwich, carolina style, with curly fries. I’m set on sodium and calories for the day… but it’s oh so delicious going down. On other visits I have had the brisket, the beans, the slaw and the meat-topped giant potato, and all were great. The sauces, mild and hot, are some of my favorites. The place gets packed at lunch, largely from Boeing and Spirit AeroSystems employees that come straight down 47th to here. But it is staffed accordingly and the line moves fast, food comes fast, and seats are usually available.

The place is very good. I had Beef Brisket and Pulled chicken with BBQ Beans and corn. Really liked everything. The only reason it’s not rated 5 stars is the atmosphere. But price was excellent and food tasted great.
