Paula K.

Business Owner

As far back as she can remember, Paula always wanted to be a business owner. Starting in kindergarten, she played «office,» with siblings and friends, and always insisted on being the «boss.» As such, she learned at a very early age that there is an art to effectively and successfully managing people, and that you can’t «boss» people around and expect them to do good work.

Fast forward 20 years … Paula took a job out of college as a weight loss counselor for Jenny Craig Weight Loss Centers. After several promotions, she was asked to be acting manager of the company, working side by side with franchise owner Larry Fleming. She spent the next four years learning from one of the most successful businessmen in Wichita. When the opportunity to acquire Ramco came along, she knew she was ready to run her own company.

Paula treats Ramco Building Maintenance and everyone associated with it as part of a family, taking the time to develop employees into stronger, more effective people.
