By far the best toy and kite store in Kansas! So many unique and affordable toys and games. They also have a variety of flags (including the Wichita flag), wind spinners, wind-​chimes, and other yard art.
Highly recommend checking out their creative, fun store!

My friends own this store, and it’s fantastic. The toys are the kind you remember from growing up — fun, educational, wholesome. We got our kite from them, and it’s the best flyer we’ve every had. Kites are in a range of prices, from $ 5 and up. (They’ll help you pick out the best one for you.) They also have Kansas sports-​team themed merchandise, wind chimes, garden décor, and lots of other fun stuff. Not your run-​of-​the-​mill store!

Best toy store in Wichita period.
You can walk in not knowing what you want and come out with some unique and fun toys. I just told them I have two nieces and their ages and the personal attention I received was great. Her suggestions were useful in aiding in my decisions.
The selection in toys are what sets them apart from a big chain retail store. They have items that a young kid would get more out of then what you’ll find else where. Lots of toys for boys and girls in any age range.
Once I got what I wanted I had mentioned these were late Christmas gifts. She insisted that they be wrapped. Wraps them up at no additional charge.
The people that own and work there are knowledgeable and friendly. They give you the attention you won’t find elsewhere.

Interactive Toy Store
This place had some crazy looking windmill type kite whipping in the wind out front, so out of curiosity I popped in to see what the scoop was on this new retail store. The owner and his assistant were nice to greet and told me about their vision of offering toys you can’t find at major outlets. Pretty obscure and affordable things in here, but unfortunately the kid in me grew up years ago!
If I had offspring, it would definitely be a neat place to stop in and let the little one exert some energy because there were plenty of things to tinker with inside. They even had some science, magic and game kits which I think are great for children. They had space age toys, rave type toys, bizarre magnet robots, little girl kites, big boy kites and even a sock monkey kite that made me smile. :-)
If your shopping for kids, avoid the commercials on TV and even more, the horrific lines at the chain toy stores — buy local!
