Established in 2011.

This coffee shop was started with the idea that the town of Wilbraham, MA was in desperate need of a great coffee shop… The name Common Grounds Café, was introuduced with the idea that the shop could be used by local students, business men and women and local residents as a «common» place for people to meet and enjoy each other in a warm and inviting café.

This place is cozy and the food is delicious! Their blueberry and lemon poppy seed muffins are AMAZING. The coffee and lattes are great too! We sat in the upstairs lounge and did some school work and there are tons of seating options

If it’s cold outside stop here for a gingerbread latte !! It’s the best one I’ve had in ages and very reasonably priced.
Also tried the breakfast sandwich on a bagel. Perfectly toasted, cheese melted and sausage piping hot (as my grandmother used to say).
This neighborhood coffee shop is way better than the chains and really friendly!

Was difficult to find but worth it, tucked back in a Plaza. I had a regular coffee and a breakfast sandwich and both were awesome. The lady behind the counter was really great and the gentleman in the seating area was pleasant. Was clean and orderly, will definitely be back when in the area.

Heard a lot of great things about this place so I decided to go give it a shot. They have all kinds of flavors for their coffee: chocolate banana, chocolate strawberry, toasted almonds, etc. I tried the large choco banana ($ 2.50) one with a bit of cream and it is literally perfect. The staff was really friendly and helpful! :) there’s also an upstairs lounge with WiFi for those who need a place to work or chill. Will definitely come back for coffee and the great atmosphere!

This place is NOT closed. It has changed owners. They serve awesome muffins, coffee, cupcakes and the like. It is a wonderful place to get a breakfast sandwich and coffee and hang out with friends. It’s is for sure open!

If you know the area, you know coffee places are everywhere. However, this place stands out! The owner is always there to great you with hellos and welcomes automatically putting you in a positive mood no matter how bad your morning may be. I personally keep coming back because of the never ending coffee flavors. No, they are not squirts! If you like that crap then you know where to get your crappy coffee. If you prefer real flavor, real taste, a true morning kick start then I highly recommend Common Grounds.

On my drive in to Boston from the Granby area, I drove out of my way to grab a coffee here. Based on the Unilocal reviews, I knew it’d be worth my time. We showed up around 9am on a Saturday and to our dismay– locked doors. We awkwardly stood in the parking lot thinking there was something we were missing– maybe there’s a back door or something? Did they simply not flip over the «open» sign this morning when they opened? We saw another person pull up, try the door, and walk away in frustration. Definitely won’t be giving them another shot.

Cappuccino done right w/​exact proportions of foam, espresso and milk. Excellent service. I ordered blueberry muffin and they asked if I wanted it heated and buttered. Muffin is the softest thing ever.

Staff is very friendly. Cute interior & cool upstairs lounge. My salted caramel mocha latte was hot & delicious. By hot I mean still piping hot in the takeout cup 30 mins later. My Starbucks never stays that hot. Also tried the iced white chocolate mocha latte which was also up to par. Prices are competitive… as in a good $ 2 cheaper than Starbucks. I’d much rather give my money to local business like Common Grounds.

Needed a place to work for the morning and this place is so cute! There is a lounge upstairs which is basically like an apartment — TV, large tables, couches — it’s super cute!
Staff were really friendly and the white choc caramel drink I got was A-​mazing.
Wish they had a coffee place like this in my neighborhood in Williamsburg, BK. I expect if they did though, it would be really packed!

Thank God this place is in Wilbraham. They’ve cornered the market since they have absolutely no competition in the area. The iced coffee I got was fine, but the breakfast sandwich (bacon, egg and cheese on an english muffin) was outstanding. Lots of eggs, freshly made and super flavorful. My husband tried the coffee cake which they warmed up for him. I had a bite and it was amazing.
The atmosphere was super cozy and inviting and the staff was incredibly friendly. We’ll be back!

Really friendly staff, a very comfortable atmosphere. You can sit down for an hour with a latte and a good book and feel totally okay with that.
Pumpkin spice latte is delicious. So was peppermint mocha. Their unsweetened iced tea was delicious, not bitter, not weak.
I ordered their bacon egg and cheese on a bagel. The bacon was crispy, bagel nice and soft. Prices about the same as Starbucks, so a latte and breakfast will run you less then $ 10.
Love the little upstairs. Very comfy and easy to relax in.

Had some time to kill in between appointments and needed an afternoon pick me up while getting some paperwork done. I went with a basic flavored ice coffee which definitely hit the spot. This café is a Really great spot with very friendly service, an array of home made pastries an baked goods as well as smoothie and granola bar options for something a little healthier. I went upstairs which was air conditioned, quiet, and had a bathroom available if needed. Got my work done and was reenergized. Now of only my town could get a place like this

Plenty of parking, ask the owner Liane about hosting Meetup events upstairs! The place is large and VERY clean, tile, new furniture, new cushions on the chairs and a lovely bathroom. I’ve been in a lot of coffee shops that are gross, hence why I mention this. The coffee and pastries are great, there are magazines and books to read and lots of friendly locals hang out here. Great for web surfing and studying. Hope you come check it out! There is also a wheelchair ramp out front with the parking space right there.

Awesome place to grab an excellent coffee, a locally-​made pastry you don’t need, maybe a panini or two… and listen to some non-​radio friendly tunes on the ever-​present stereo. Heck, get on your phone and surf the Net for a while while you put away your third Espresso.
