Clean Energy Solar Systems

Whatever you do, don’t go with this company for anything. The guy who owns the company Tony Rosen or Ben Gilano or whatever name he’s using this week is a scoundrel! We got his name from a friend who is a contractor who got his name from somebody else. We contracted with this company for a solar system and after it was put in (it took two months to get it put in) it wasn’t the system that we were supposed to get. After talking to him, we were supposed to get a refund because the system we got was smaller than the one we ordered. He refused to make good on the deal. On top of that, the contractors he hired didn’t put our roof back together correctly and we had to have them come back out and do it right. All in all, we were ripped off for $ 10,000. Please learn from my mistake and don’t hire this guy for anything!

Most unprofessional company ever. I started looking for solar in September 2012. I chose a company and went with a solar lease. The owner of Clean Energy Solar Systems, Ben Gilano, called me pretending to have information about my installation. He showed up at my house under the name «Tony Rosen» and proceeded to tell me how he could save me $, that I was being ripped off by this other company etc. He said he used to work for them and got my name from their database which he still had access to. Against my better judgement, I agreed to hear him out and cancelled my lease (with much difficulty) through the other company. Months went by with excuse after excuse about why he couldn’t get the lease he had promised me. Eventually I agree to buy the panels instead. To make a long story short, after months (IT IS NOW MARCH 2013) of waiting and messing around, his contractor that he hired decided they didn’t want to do the job anymore. I then discovered they didn’t even have a valid Construction License. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. It is nothing but bad news.

The owner of this business is Tony Rosen. I engaged in business with Tony in February 2012 for a solar system on my home. I was told the system would be installed in under 90 days. The job was finished 7 months later. Tony is a super nice guy when you meet him; however, he is not a man of his word. I paid him $ 1,000 in cash to lock in a special rate but never received the special rate. He has been promising me for months he would pay me back but I have yet to see the money. I would strongly encourage you not to do business with this man.
