Wildwood BBQ Bash

The Wildwood BBQ Bash is an annual event in its 10^th year that brings together 100+ teams at a massive bbq competition. This year was my first time attending, but it will not be my last. This is the place to be if you are a fan of any type of bbq. Some teams only choose to enter the competition, however many choose to sell their bbq allowing you to get a some of some great bbq from local teams. You will see many notable players in the Saint Louis BBQ Scene, however it’s often the unsung heroes that deliver some of the best tasting grilled meats.
In addition to food there is also entertainment, which included fireworks and an acoustic set by Country star Joe Nichols. The entire bash takes over the Wildwood Town Center, parking can be difficult however this year there were two locations offering free shuttle service both to and from the event.
If you are a fan of BBQ, I highly recommend making a trip out to Wildwood for the next BBQ Bash!
