AVIVA Strings, founded by violinist, Jessica Nataupsky Kang, is an accomplished group of musicians, hailing from the best universities and conservatories in the country. We play with multiple professional orchestras, ensembles, and organizations including the Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic, Philly POPS, Pennsylvania Ballet Orchestra, Opera Philadelphia, Binghamton Philharmonic, and more.
With over 40 years of combined experience, we are available for a wide range of events in Northeastern Pennsylvania and beyond including traditional wedding ceremonies, church services and ceremonies (including full Catholic Mass), Jewish wedding ceremonies, contemporary and civil ceremonies, receptions, banquets, corporate events, and more. We perform a diverse range of repertoire including classical selections by Bach, Beethoven, Schubert, Handel, and Pachelbel, jazz standards, as well as instrumental arrangements of popular songs by Adele, Coldplay, Bruno Mars, the Beatles, Lady Gaga, and many others. We are able to accommodate almost any special request. And if it is not already part of our vast repertoire, we can make a custom arrangement just for you! We are available to perform as a soloist, duo, trio, quartet or any other combination of instruments you can think of.

Business Owner
Jessica Nataupsky Kang, violinist and founder of AVIVA Strings, is an active teacher and performer in and around the Northeastern Pennsylvania and Philadelphia regions.
Jessica received her master’s degree from Temple University’s Esther Boyer College of Music where she was a student of William DePasquale, former concertmaster of the Philadelphia Orchestra. Jessica has performed in some of the most prestigious venues in the country including The Kimmel Center in Philadelphia, The Academy of Music in Philadelphia, Orchestra Hall in Detroit, and Carnegie Hall in New York. Jessica currently plays and substitutes with numerous professional orchestras including the Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic, Pennsylvania Ballet Orchestra, Philly POPS Orchestra, Binghamton Philharmonic, Tri-Cities Opera Orchestra, Lancaster Symphony, Northern Tier Symphony, and Riverside Symphonia.
