We offer a wide selection of lighting styles– from 18^th century reproductions to modern lighting fixtures. If we don’t have it in the shop, we can order it for you! Come get your new chandelier, sconce, or lantern today!

The Lamplighter Shoppe is new to the internet, but it has had a «brick and mortar» business for 36 years in Williamsburg, Virginia. We hope you will visit us by phone or in person. During our years in business, we have become a favorite destination of designers, home owners, architects and restorations, such as Colonial Williamsburg. History

Established in 1977.

For 36 years the Lamplighter Shoppe has consulted with and provided lighting and accessories to homeowners, designers, architects, builders, and historic sites throughout the country.

Projects within Colonial Williamsburg have included designing special lighting for the historic area, refurbishing lighting in the Capitol Building, many houses, and Campbell’s Tavern. Non-​evasive low voltage flickering candles were installed in antique chandeliers in the Governor’s Palace and Capitol. We refurbished the Wren Building’s lighting fixtures and created new sconces and candle stands for the College of William and Mary. We developed Wrenwax candle covers for the Wren Building. These are now seen throughout the Colonial Williamsburg historic area and the United States. Our work also takes us into new building projects such as working with architects and designers to create the perfect space. This expertise has made the Lamplighter Shoppe a favorite source from New York to California.
