Literally the worst Starbucks location I’ve ever been to, out of probably over 100. Horrible. Just the worst service. The first time I went, last fall, it took me 12 minutes to get a Pumpkin Spice Latte(which are gross by the way). 12 minutes. No one was ahead of me. No one was behind me. 12 minutes, after the barista spilled it halfway through. Also someone(a customer?) was shouting a Dominos order into his phone. Today I just walked out after waiting six minutes for someone to take my order. One of the computers was down. Just baristas walking around aimlessly. Omg, this place is so enraging.

Ordered my drinks this morning had the cashier start my order then another barista comes out from the back with a bucket with water and cleaning solution that she poured in front of the coffee machines and the whole time without gloves and without skipping a beat or washing her hands starts to touch all of the coffee making equipment and the cups for my order I quickly returned to the cashier to have my drinks refunded as there was no way i was going to drink anything made by someone there and all the manager on duty did was ask if she had washed her hand and still let her continue making over peoples drink. Completely unacceptable.

I go to Starbucks but only when there is nowhere else left to go, like in the financial district(FiDi) or Heathrow. But this one I can’t. I just can’t. I don’t wanna be in Heathrow when gimme is just a block away, or the West — places that don’t have apps or employees in polyester uniforms. So here in Williamsburg. No. In the city it makes sense and is even enjoyable. Love that they have cold brew now. Those egg sandwiches. Yum. Sorry if this is redundant. I’m sure you know this and are reading this in this Starbucks while you sip a venti in the air conditioned comfort of late capitalist Williamsburg. I’m stubbornly holding out for hope on the other side of the BQE.

This is probably one of my favorite Starbucks in the city. I don’t come here for the drinks, I don’t come here for the food… but I come here because it is such a good spot to study/get work done. For a NYC coffee shop. it is insanely spacious, tables are always available, outlets are plenty. Oh and it is well lit, noise levels are controllable, and has large windows. The wifi is also great! What more can one ask for? I brought a friend along once and she was in total agreement that this place rocked for studying. Service is slow and sometimes the food items are limitedly stocked, but that’s okay because that’s not the selling point for me. So I’m a fan!

The young kids here seem to have confused Starbucks on a Wed. morning for a club. Music blasting. F bombs, S bombs, trap, just garbage music. Never seen a collective of paid adults who seem to need a chaperone like this group. No one’s interested in going to da club with you kids. No one.

Had mixed experienced. Today I asked for a wet cappuccino, got a dry one. Asked the barista if he knew I wanted it wet and he replied«no.» I asked for more milk, waited about 2 minutes and was given back my exact drink unchanged. Finding good employees is hard.

I came here today at 4:05pm. There were 2 employees working. Kedijah and Khris. Both employees were more engaged with their own conversations than the customers in front of them. There was no line and the service took forever. I stood in front of Kris for about 2 minutes waiting to place my order while he engaged in pointless conversation with the other employee. The place was empty completely empty which is rare for Starbucks. However service still sucked.

It’s good for a Starbucks but they need to fix that music situation. It sounded like a bunch of college girls pregaming and fighting over what song to play. Tree star.

I’m not a starbucks kinda person… I like supporting local mom and pop café business rather than big corporate chains like starbucks. I happened to be in the area and craving a hot beverage late at 10pm and there it was starbucks was open. The lady that did my drink was soo sweet and accomdated my drinks just the way I told her to. The area is also very clean and has personality to it.

I mean it’s Starbucks which is pretty much the same everywhere. I always have quick service when I stop in during the day and the staff is nice so can’t complain! Would be curious as to what it looks like during the rush hours times!

Soooo… a couple months ago I decided to patronize this starbucks. I was a little taken aback when everything I asked for wasn’t available. and when I’d finally chosen something that they actually DID have, I still couldn’t purchase it because they didn’t have change for a $ 20! Seriously?! So, today I had a $ 10 gift card and decided to try my luck again. bad idea. I asked for the seasonal Graham Cracker latte and guess what? It wasn’t available! So, I decided on the caramel Apple spice coffee… and this too… WASNOTAVAILABLE! The fuck?! The attendant was very sweet and apologized for not having apple juice to make my drink. I ended up going with the pumpkin spice latte. Oh, and btw, the guy in front of me handed the girl a $ 20& she told him she had no change. and asked if he could pay with a debit card instead! So done with that place. Step ya game up Starbucks of Williamsburg!!!

Rude ass manager who kicked us all out at 10:30PM even though me and another girl innocently commented«But online it says 11PM», he flew off the handle saying«EVERYONEALWAYSTELLSMEWHATTIMEWECLOSE I THINK I KNOWWHATTIMEWECLOSEGUYS. IMNOTRESPONSIBLEFORWHATTHEINTERNETPUTSUP!» That was totally not freaking called for especially since he could’ve NICELY explained that. Then, as I go to leave, I asked«Well can I just use the restroom really quick?» He said, «When we’re closed were closed, but go ahead.» I rolled my eyes and said, «Really jerk? 3 people are still getting their orders taken and their drinks made but I can’t use your freaking restroom. You don’t have to worry about seeing me in this piece of shit again.»

Not sure why this place got negative reports. It’s Starbucks not your typical hipster coffee place. It’s consistent with its flavor, I love the pumpkin spice.

Stumbled upon this cozy location with a friend of mine a while back. I enjoyed a pumpkin spice latte while editing some photos and overall was really impressed with the environment inside. I’m not a frequent Starbucks goer but this is my location of choice whenever I’m in a Starbucks mood.

This Starbucks is an embarrassment. The coffee is the same and the food is the same low quality mass produced stuff. The service is the worst. It feels like going to a highway McDonalds. One block away is the West Café, among many other local joints. Go there, great service, food and drinks. A real place.

Great and quiet place to focus and to read stuff in your free time. The place is well decorated and the people are polite, and quiet. The staff are respectful and treat you nicely. The Wi-Fi in here is not clogged and you get decent amount of speed. Sometimes the bathrooms are not available as they are under maintenance or out of service. Overall, this is a great place to have a quiet time in your life…

I feel obliged to begin this review by stating that I’ve never actually set foot in this Starbucks location. Yet I feel no less qualified or inclined than anyone else to express my thoughts regarding the existence of this particular store, which, as you will come to know, is one of great enthusiasm. On the matter of whether I’ve entered this establishment or not, I will defer in good faith to the founding premise of the Starbucks corporation; that the pseudo-luxurious experience of consuming sub-par coffee, gas station grade sandwiches, and large bites of cake on the end of a stick should be identical always, regardless of your geographical placement. The quality and sustenance by which this objective is fulfilled may allow room for debate, but the consistency by which the company as a whole attempts to do so seems ubiquitous. Hence, the need to address specific qualities of particular locations seems, in my humble opinion, to be an exercise in utter futility. Why then, you might ask, should this particular location receive any more or fewer stars than any other? Surely not all Starbucks should be given 5 star reviews? Keen observations indeed. I should be quick to agree, but I should also be swift in pointing to the qualities that distinguish this location from the rest. You see, dear reader, this particular Starbucks location is a masterpiece of corporate avant-gardism. It is for Williamsburg today what Guernica was for Spain in the 1930s, what To Kill A Mockingbird was to the post-war rural south, what the Disney store was to Times Square in the 1990’s. The phlegmatic repose enacted by the team of executives who dared to envision this particular Starbucks, defying every naïve ideal of every trust funder or corporate lackey who has flocked to the Lorimer stop in search of some vague notion of hipsterdom, is an act of pure genius. The indifference expressed by this faceless collective of corporate officers, in spite of every outcry against the corporatization of Williamsburg should be understood as a Zen embodiment of the current American Zeitgeist. The sheer ambivalence of their actions make the most blasé of Brooklynites seem like impassioned zealots. Their actions were quite simple really; sign a lease, make the slightest cosmetic changes to the interior of the storefront in an already corporate-looking pre-fab condo development, adhere a few vinyl decals for branding, and voilà! But the consequences are astounding. For no longer can the wannabe hipster exit their condo to find the antique hardwood beams and mustachioed baristas that have maintained the façade of a bohemian neighborhood. No longer can one saunter down Union Ave imagining that they have come upon an unknown neighborhood littered with secret little haunts. No longer can Union Pool or Barcade be referred to as the«cool» spot that your Manhattan friends don’t know about. The veil has been lifted. The emperor is naked. And we owe a debt of gratitude to the few silent corporate officers who have allowed us to see Brooklyn for what it is. Thank you kind sirs(all corporate demographic information leads me to believe that you are primarily middle-aged white men), I applaud you.

I have lived in this neighborhood for 12 years. This is the cradle of the alternative coffeehouse scene… Think, Variety, Oslo, Roebling Tearoom, Tarpit, etc. Now chain stores and hipster yuppies and ugly new construction and chain stores like this homogenize and boring-ify what used to be a great neighborhood. The artists are long gone… the few of us who are left are dreaming of Portland, Austin, Paris, London… Or moving back into the city. The barista was really nice. Otherwise zero stars. The skinny iced latte tastes like breast milk from a mean old woman.

Love this location, at the edge of the hipster zone, you won’t find the rush in and out crowd or long lines. Lots of tables and chairs. Great place if you want to sit and work in comfort.
