The Pet Resort At Greensprings

I boarded my dog there for 8 days, called 3 – 4 times and was always told he was doing very good, no problems, no concerns. Shortly after I picked him up however, he wouldn’t walk up or down stairs, he kept crying and was not himself at all. He was clearly limping and in pain. I then called them to voice my concerns and the lady told me he had no problems while there and pooped 7 – 8 times a day which was very normal. What? I took him right to his vet where they told me that’s not normal at all and his knee cap was displaced. How did no one notice this? It’s taken 2 ½ weeks and meds to get him back to normal. I would not recommend and will not be returning.

My dog has been going here for day care since he was old enough to be properly vaccinated. He loves it! He pulls us in the door and waits to be taken straight back. We also recently boarded him for a week and he was as happy as could be. They are always extremely friendly and you can tell they love dogs. They all seem to know him the second we walk in the door. We highly recommend it here.

I was very hesitant to leave my puppy with people I didn’t know. This place eased all my anxieties.
Service: Their service was better than expected. Before dropping my baby off I was able to come in and get a mini tour and an explanation of what to expect day to day. Their staff is very friendly and accommodating. The place was clean and inviting and the size is about 5 acres I believe. Even though the location is a little ways away from where I live, it’s so worth the drive to know that my baby will be taken care of.
After her first stay, I was so happy to hear that she was such a good girl and well taken care of. She ended up being the popular one playing with all the other dogs of all sizes and was a favorite of the staff. Till this day they are excited when I call to make a reservation.
Overall this will be the ONLY place I will take our baby girl as long as we live here. We are so sad to know that when the time comes to move we will not find a place a great as this one.

This place is awesome! The staff is amazing and my pup always loves going there. Sometimes she cannot even wait till we park the car to get out and get dropped off. Found The Pet Resort when my father got sick and it was very reassuring to know that throughout the day my pup would have somewhere to be instead of at the house all alone. Such a big help using the day camp and the pup is always exhausted when I pick her up. I’ve even used the grooming services provided there and always a great choice. This place is great and I highly recommend it to any one with dogs!

The Pet Resort at Green Spring is an excellent kennel. We have used this kennel twice while visiting Williamsburg, VA. The care our dog got was second to none. The facilities are designed around a home setting rather than wire stalls. The dogs are treated to daily walks and social time with other dogs… this social time is monitored closely to make sure the animals are getting along. I would recomend this kennel to anyone.

We have sent our dog here for years, to daycare and occasionally for boarding, as well. Our dog can be a bit skittish and needs extra attention, and they offer it without a question. He loves it there, it’s his favorite place in the world.
The price cannot be beaten – we originally brought him here because it was less expensive than the competition, and that remains true.
The staff is incredibly friendly, accommodating and helpful. We could not ask for a better experience.

This place is great… I have used the day camp and boarding… They service is outstanding. There is a chalk board when you walk in that tells what pets are coming and leaving. I was impress because they actually took time to welcome dogs and tell the ones leaving good bye on the chalk board. I picked up my dog from 2 nights of boarding and he smelled good. No bath at all. He was so happy, didn’t seem afraid or nervous. This place is great. Highly recommend.

I used the day camp for my two labradors while I was visiting Williamsburg. The facilities were neat and clean. The staff were cheerful and eager to accommodate my dogs. At the end of the day, I was handed back two happy and exhausted pooches. I will definitely be using them again when I visit the area. The cost per dog for a full day is $ 20.00, not cheap but worth every penny in piece of mind. Gunny and Meadow give Greensprings two paws up!
