Uncle Dave’s Kettle Korn

Best popcorn ever!!! Wish they open on Sunday’s. I love the caramel popcorn, the flavor is spot on and stays crunchy for a long time. If you love popcorn with caramel you will not be disappointed. Give them a try I’m sure you will be coming back for more.

Rediculously overpriced. His large bag -$ 20. Down the way another vendor -$ 5 for the same size. Don’t be suckered. This guy will take advantage of you!

This is some of the best popcorn I have ever had. We drove to Williamsburg yesterday just for the popcorn. We will be ordering bags of this for our son’s birthday party in June. It’s always a big hit. The staff is friendly and even tries to save you money while ordering.

When I’m out in Williamsburg shopping, I have to stop by this little kiosk before leaving. Seriously one of the best kettle corn I have had in my life. Perfectly salty and sweet. I was so happy with the original flavor, it took a while for me until I decided to venture and try out the other ones. The cheese and the caramel are just as finger-​licking good, and there are still more flavors I haven’t tried. Uncle Dave has perfect his trade. Trust me, try a snack bag and the next time, you’ll order a whole tub (it stays fresh for a while too). It’s THAT good.

I usually get Uncle Dave’s Kettle Korn as a snack while shopping at Williamsburg Prime Outlets (kettle corn stand). The smell of fresh kettle corn being cooked lures you to the stand. Uncle Dave’s has a variety of flavored kettle corn and sizes. My favorite flavors are sweet & spicy, Old Bay, and orginial. The staff usually let customers sample different flavors before buying. Prices are reasonable. Service is usually friendly and fast (when owner works at the stand). Uncle Dave’s Kettle Korn is a good choice for kettle corn at the outlets in Williamsburg.

I can’t comment on the kettle korn, just the customer service. We stopped by for some refreshment and saw they had Slush Puppies, with three flavors listed clearly on the order window: watermelon, cherry, and blue raspberry. There was just one girl working there and I asked for a large watermelon Slush Puppy. She said, «we only have cherry and blue raspberry,» as if I was stupid to even think they had watermelon. So I got cherry instead, and thanked her with a smile. She didn’t smile or say anything. I went back a minute later to get some napkins for my kids, and she acted quite inconvenienced to have to get up and get me something (they didn’t have napkins so she brought back paper towels). I mean, it wasn’t horrible service, but I really hate going somewhere where I’m treated as though I’m a pain in someone’s behind when I’m giving them business! The slush puppy was fine weand I would bet the kettle korn is pretty good, although I’ll probably never come back to try it.

Girl working was rude and unfriendly. She interrupted me when I was ordering. My total die was $ 2. I then handed her a $ 5 bill. After waiting for my change I look up and she’s giving me a look like I’m insane and says «Is there a problem?»

Without a doubt a must stop if shopping at the Williamsburg Premium Outlet, or whatever there calling it now.
Located in the older part of the mall just outside of the Converse store. Uncle Dave’s is in a white trailer like you would find at the fair. However, this is a permanent location.
The sell kettle corn by the bag in three sizes starting at $ 5. The also sell by the bucket too! If you make the mistake the first time it will not happen again. The bucket is best deal if taking home. Samples are always made available. They also sell drinks.
It’s been a long time since I visited Uncle Dave’s and my daughter remembered it fondly and begged me to go. Well that did not take a lot of are twisting. The joint is usually ran by teens, much like tonight. A small bag was purchased to eat there. Nothing special about the service.
Tables are just off to to the side that there customers use. It was a disaster of popcorn every where. Is it UD responsibility, or mall to clean up?
The kettle corn was just as delicious as I remembered. Awesome taste that is flat out addictive, in a good kind of way.
Hit a Uncle Dave’s Kettle Korn up for a scrumptious treat. I think you will make it a traditional stop like our family does if shopping at the mall too.

5 stars in my book! Uncle Dave’s is located in the Williamsburg Premium Outlets. First right turn into the outlets and on the left. It is a stand alone booth. Went here on the weekend mid-​day with my family, and the line was pretty long. It was well worth the wait. They give samples, and have alot of choices. All of the ones we tasted were good. They also have plain kettle corn if you don’t want a seasoning on it. The seasoning on the popcorn is nice and thick, so every bite you will definitely taste it. They also have ice cream and drinks. Amazing, and can’t wait to go back!

Love it! Such a good snack. They allow you to get half and half (more than one flavor). Best popcorn I’ve ever had. Be sure to get your frequent buyer card where your 10^th purchase is free. They do not operate the same hours as the outlets so be mindful of that. 2x I thought that I was going to have some popcorn while shopping and Uncle Dave’s was closed :(

About a 3.5: Uncle Dave’s Kettle Corn is a stand-​alone popcorn business at two locations: one at the Williamsburg Premium Outlets, and one at the Leesburg Premium Outlets. It is owned by David Tuftee (‘Uncle Dave’), which he started off with a tent and a table, offering his secret kettle korn recipe for the shoppers in Williamsburg. He also makes appearances at the VA State Fair and during the apple-​picking season at Graves Mountain Lodge. The menu offers snack trays, small/​medium/​large bags, and buckets. They offer the following flavors: Classic, Orange Cheddar, White Cheddar, Caramel, Bacon Cheddar, Old Bay, Cajun, and Cinnamon. Each popcorn kernels are popped to the maximum, each coated with this sweet caramel-​like crunchiness, then topped with an additional flavor powder/​seasoning of your choice. I got the bucket (you can’t do combos with the small or the medium; only large and up) with 2 combos: Orange Cheddar and White Cheddar (because I LOVE cheese!). I actually liked how the seasoning was quite generous — it seems that the savory ones are quite savory/​salty, and the sweet-​flavored ones are really sweet (in addition to the sweetness of the kettle flavor). Definitely a nice treat, but I do recommend getting a smaller size as a bucket is good for the family or for parties. Just keep in mind that this isn’t a regular-​style popcorn, but kettle corn-​style, popped with sugar/​salt/​oil. Customer service was friendly and very efficient.

There are some things that I enjoy eating… like crunchy peanut butter, from the jar… on a spoon in the dark! Then, there are some things that I ABSOLUTELY LOVE EATING AND UNCLE DAVES KETTLE KORN IS ONE OF THEM!!! I LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEE UNCLE DAVES KETTLE KORNNNNNNNNNNNN!!! I am a kettle korn FANATIC. I have tried every store brand that there is and lots of different indie and gourmet brands and NONE of them can top UNCLE DAVESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!! This is THE BEST kettle korn for like thousands of miles. I have like seriously gotten a taste for it and got in my car and drove from Portsmouth to Williamsburg to get it. I refuse to even drive past the Prime Outlets without stopping for popcorn — I just can’t do it. I usually get 3 large bags and I don’t share them (don’t judge me) I love the freshness and the sweet with the salty — my goodie goodness it’s like AMAZING!!! If you are in the vicinity of the outlets and love popcorn, you must try it!!! The staff is nice and friendly too.

Ok so here’s the deal… got a small bag while shopping at the outlets today. I didn’t open it until we were in the car to leave. This kettlecorn is the real deal, crunchy with the perfect salt to sweet ratio. I ate entire bag today and I am now in bed wishing I had gotten the large tub because I would have some to snack in like RIGHT NOW.
Bottom line: solid kettlecorn, would definitely eat again and I highly recommend. Two thumbs up

This place is my obsession every time I visit Williamsburg. The best Kettle Corn on the East Coast. They’re closed on Sunday’s so plan accordingly. One taste and you’ll be hooked. Hot, sweet, and salty. It’s the best. Get the big bag or the bucket and tell your family and friends to get their own. This stuff is too good to share.

I love this place & any time I am within 30 min of williamsburg, I always stop to get some of their Kettle Corn. Its the Best!

Who knew that some of the best kettle corn I ever had would be found at an unassuming stand in the middle of the Williamsburg Premium Outlets? I didn’t, until today! I’m really surprised that I am the first to review Uncle Dave’s, as literally every other person I saw walking around the mall had a bag of his made-​from-​scratch kettle corn. Located just in front of the Converse store, not only can you see their stand, but you can just smell the sweet and salty goodness that will lure you in. Being the popcorn lover I am, I just had to have some! Their flavor selections from what I remember are:
–Classic Kettle
–White Cheddar
–Orange Cheddar
–Old Bay
I appreciated that they didn’t have an overwhelming selection of flavors since that can sometimes take away from the quality of the basics! They had these flavor and did them well. I went with a small bag (which actually turned out to be much bigger than I expected) of the classic kettle corn, while my friend went with a small of the white cheddar (which only came in a small plastic container… I was a little confused!). Both were delicious! The Old Bay flavor was a little offsetting for me, as the Old Bay was sprinkled onto actual kettle corn, not plain popcorn. The combination of sweet and salty plus Old Bay didn’t work for me! But I have found a new kettle corn that I am absolutely in love with!
