For all the hype, I just wasn’t impressed. Don’t get me wrong, the burger was very good. Not ‘I need to call my mom and tell her right now’ good, but very good. The fries were good, although nothing super special. The staff seemed nice. No huge complaints there. What throws me off is the price. The place has the look and ambiance of a fast food restaurant, but charges sit-down prices. It just leaves me feeling confused. Five Guys looks and feels like a Wendy’s or Burger King. Yes, the burger is better than something served at the aforementioned places… but not enough to justify it being literally 2 or more times expensive. If I want to pay a lot for a burger, I am going to go to The Bullfrog and have a great burger and fries, along with a great beer in a location with great ambiance that supports local business.

I’m a huge 5 Guys and Fries fan and the burgers are great. My rating is based on their fries… be sure to request minimal to no salt or that is all you will taste. Seems they have a heavy hand with the shaker and no it was not an isolated incident. I now request minimal salt and that is a successful fix for me.

$ 15.30 for a bacon cheeseburger with a regular size fries. What is actual life anymore. Just throw a 10 dollar bill out of the window on the way there. It’s basically the same thing.

Very inconsistent. If I pay for a large fry, I want a large fry. This place isn’t cheap price wise so I would expect them not to be cheap with the fries. Also, the employees look miserable. I’ve been to other Five Guys restaurants and have never seen such a miserable staff.

I’m so glad they opened up a Five Guys in Williamsport! The burgers here are the best in town no question about it. Food prices are a little above what you would pay at Wendy’s, Burger King or McDonald’s. And the nice thing is you can get milkshakes if you like them. This place definitely wants to contribute to America’s obesity considering the regular burgers are all double patties. I’m glad the lady at the counter told me about that my first time there. So I was smart to get a Junior bacon cheeseburger, I might last a day or two more before I die of heart disease. Be careful not to get the large fries because the small one is already so much they throw a lot of extra fries in the bag it’s overflowing. They call it five guys but there was probably at least eight or nine guys behind the counter serving and making food, but it still took a while to get the food. Not too bad but about a 10 minute wait.

The food here is a giant step up from fast food in the area. The burgers are big and the quality is great! The milkshakes are incredible and there are so many different variations to choose from. The atmosphere is cool! The place is always hopping, the open kitchen is cool and the peanuts while you wait is a nice touch. However some gripes I have is the price is a bit high. My mom, dad and I all got a cheeseburger, french fries and milkshake and the bill was almost 50 dollars. That’s a bit high for a run of the mill burger joint. Another gripe is the fries could have had a little more personality. They were all droopy and greasy in the cup and they’re just your average carnival fries, I don’t think a cup is the best way to serve french fries, personally I would rather have have them toss the fries in the bag and not bother with the cup. But I think the restaurant is pretty decent, price is the only thing keeping us from returning frequently.

Very good burgers and fries. I enjoyed them when I was there. But the atmosphere was bad, very heavy loud crappy taste music. I thought I was eating at a dancing club. I will go there for take-out next time, definitely not dine-in!

All I have to say is MILKSHAKES! This location has them, and with like 10 flavors you can mix and combine together. OH, and if you’re feeling crazy, you can even add bacon to them! WTF?! I did the bacon with salted caramel… omg best shake ever! And of course with the best burgers and fries of all time. Get the burger, fry and shake, then free up the next couple hours of your day, because you’ll need a nap! Go. Enjoy the happy crew working their«buns» off!

The food was excellent. Prepared exactly the way I wanted it. The service was fast too even though the place was packed.

I had a Five Guys Burger for the first time and it was a great experience. The open kitchen provided entertainment while I waited for my food. The atmosphere was live w this hometown feel. When I got my burger it had two parties extremely juicy for a well done burger.
