Founded by Andrew Gauthier, Groovy Donuts is a throw back to a simpler time. With a focus on quality donuts and coffee, customer satisfaction and a fun atmosphere, Groovy Donuts is unlike any other donut shop.

Meet the Business Owner

Andrew G.

Business Owner

Andrew comes from a long line of business owners. His great grandfather and great uncle owned a gas station on 7 mile and Mound in Detroit. He grew up in his parent’s restaurants, which included a BBQ Restaurant and a 50’s style diner. You might say, Andrew was destined to be an entrepreneur.

After graduating from Michigan State University, Andrew took a job at Wells Fargo Securities in New York City. It wasn’t long before he longed to return to the beautiful state of Michigan. An MSU alum, Andrew wanted to be close to MSU once again.

It wasn’t long before Andrew started planning and brainstorming his next business venture. After several months of plans, buildout and working with municipalities, Groovy Donuts has gone from being a dream to a reality. Can Ya Dig It?
