At the Feline Hyperthyroid Treatment Center, we utilize radioactive Iodine 131 to cure Feline Hyperthyroidism. We expect a 95−97% CURE rate with a single subcutaneous (under the skin) injection
History
Established in 1999.
The center was established as an addition to The Cat Hospital. Our goal was to provide the highest level of care to our feline patients. Being able to cure a very commone endocrine disease like hyperthyroidism is a great way to serve our feline pet population.

Dr. Eric B.
Business Owner
Dr. Eric Bregman began his under-graduate degree at the University of Houston; however, after three years he received an early acceptance to the University of Pennsylvania to study veterinary medicine. Upon graduation from UPenn he completed a formal internship in medicine and surgery at the Oradell Animal Hospital in Oradell, New Jersey. Currently Eric is an active member in the New York State Veterinary Medical Association, New York City Veterinary Medical Association, and with the University of Pennsylvania Alumni Association. Dr Bregman is a certified Radiation Officer and is licensed to adminsiter radioactive iodine to treat feline hyperthyroidism.
Dr. Eric Bregman is also the proud owner of two Cairn Terriers.
