Adams Apple Orchard & Farm Market

Adams is an absolutely wonderful place to buy plants, fresh produce, tasty ice cream on a hot summer day, and other local products. The best part of Adams Orchard and Market are the people – for the past three years I’ve come here and been wowed every time! While perusing the greenhouses, the family/​owners are always happy to chat and share their advice on the plants and how to grow them successfully.
The market is wonderful too! There’re tons of fresh produce, local gifts and goodies, and an ice cream stand that makes the drive from Burlington well worth it. Everything I have every purchased from Adams is healthy, thrives, and bears good fruit (veggies and flowers too).
I’m very happy to support this wonderful family business and will continue to as long as I live in the area.

Great thing to do on an Autumn Saterday. A bunch of us went for a hay ride, apple picking & shopped in the market for local syrup, jam, pie, etc.

We went here with our infant son to have our first family apple picking experience… although he slept through the entire thing, his mom and I enjoyed ourselves. There were still lots of apples on the trees, and we sampled quite a few while we were trying to figure out what we wanted. All in all it was an easy place to find, park and a really enjoyable day.

Farm market with Pic your own apples across the road. Parking is on a grass lot. Apples trees start really close to parking area which makes this orchard a good one to visit if you have trouble walking far distances. Prices are reasonable for apples by the bag. Pick up a bag and if you want an apple reacher tool. Head out a pick from designated trees marked by color ribbon. Good picking. Only complaint was tall grass in some areas and the lady the explained their ribbon system was impatient with giving an explanation to a first-​time visitor. Half a peck cost 5.75. Apples are really delicious so far!
