History

Established in 2013.

Private therapy practice established in Beachwood, OH in July 2013. However, I have eight years of experience in counseling and psychotherapy. I joined Psychological & Behavioral Consultants and began practicing in the Willoughby, OH office in August 2014.

I earned my Master’s degree (MS) in Clinical & Community Counseling from Johns Hopkins University (Baltimore, MD) in May 2006. I was previously licensed in the state of Maryland as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and have worked in various mental health settings in Virginia and Maryland during my post-​graduate years, including a nonprofit agency that provided residential treatment to clients with serious mental illnesses, a county mental health center, and a private counseling practice. My clinical experience includes counseling clients diagnosed with various anxiety and mood disorders, as well as schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders. I also have worked with individuals and couples to deal with issues of relationships and adjusting to life changes. My personal approach to counseling is a combination of Person-​centered and Cognitive-​Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I am licensed as a Professional Clinical Counselor (PCC) in Ohio and am a National Certified Counselor (NCC).
