Romp n’ Roll – Willow Grove

I called in December 2015 to book my daughters 2^nd birthday party here. They charged my credit card to book the date for end of January. After all the guests confirmed they were coming.10 days before I called to ask some questions about party set up and return their call because I missed their call the day before. Turns out they never booked my party just charged the credit card. They essentially said all they can do is comp me for a party another day. Not good enough for me– now I have to scramble to organize my 2 yr olds birthday somewhere last minute!
**im updating this review because Lisa the manager at romp n roll felt terrible about the situation and really stepped up to make it right! Essential she found a bunch of places similar in the area and paid for similar priced party elsewhere. Definitely helped us with our scramble!

I bring my one year old here and we love it! Clean, friendly staff, fun! There are plenty of activities to keep my daughter busy during open gym and the classes keep her entertained!

My son is 5 and we have been going here since he was about 12 months and now we have a 1 year old daughter we take here as well. Clean, safe, fun environment for your kids to play. Excellent, friendly staff. We have had a birthday party here and also have taken classes with out kids. It’s affordable and its great for kids of many ages. We are definitely happy customers and our kids love going here. Definitely worth checking out!

Took my 4 year old girl to a birthday party here. The ladies there do a great job of keeping the kids engaged. Kids are definitely more active than at Anushka arcade place. The place is like an indoor park for kids. Very safe.
Party wise, this is great for about 15 – 20 kids but it will get congested with more. Our host has food from the outside, which is nice for them to allow.
Parking in this plaza can be an issue. If you can’t find a spot, try the CVS on the other side

My daughter just held her daughter’s 4^th birthday party at Romp n’ Roll. It could not have been an easier experience. Not only was everything taken care of, the staff was great & the kids had a wonderful time. I was impressed by the facility and with the enthusiasm of the staff. There were approximately 25 – 30 children, ranging in age from less than a year to 7, all accompanied by an adult. There were organized activities (short in length because of the children’s attention span), and lots of play time. The party was a themed one — Frozen, of course, for a 4 year old girl — so many of the activities were semi-​themed as well. The kids all had a blast, running themselves ragged, and left blissfully tired. My daughter has a membership, which has been a life-​saver during the winter for her very active 4 and 2.5 year olds. I would recommend it highly. A membership — or help with a membership — might be a great grandparent gift.

At first, I was impressed by the facility. It is clean and decorated nicely. I watched my child participate in a gym class and cringed throughout. There was one instructor and a group of about 10 kids. Children were climbing on equipment without her assistance. One boy was swinging from his legs, vulnerable to a fall on his head, and the instructor was across the room. She seemed attentive, but there is only so much one person can do, I felt for the poor girl. I had my child enrolled in gymnastics classes previously, and I am used to a staff/​child ratio and class set up that ensures that each child is spotted and given the attention they need. Also, the instructor clearly had no gymnastics background. These children were learning far less than they were capable of, and it took a while for them to move between lessons. This was a class of five year olds, and my niece (3 years old) is learning more skills and vocabulary, in a safer environment, at a gym for less cost and it is just as fun (though there is no disco ball there, and that was a big hit!). I think this place should hire more staff for gym classes and make safety a bigger priority. I did not experience other classes but I assume I would have no concerns about safety in a cooking or art class and I would probably be interested in checking those out for my kid. I am sad about the gym classes, as we moved away from our gym. I think with just one instructor, they should offer a movement class in it’s place.

We took our nearly 7 month old son there over the weekend for an Easter egg hunt they sponsored through a MLBB. My son had so much fun. The place is absolutly designed with the under 5 crowd in mind. The staff was exellent with the children too.
I saw a comment below saying he loved the place but gave a poor rating due to the parking situation. Here’s what I have to say to you: If your only beef with the place is something they could not control then you’re either really perpetually unhappy or you’re just mad because someone else got the spot you wanted. Either way grow up, I bet your kid loved the place.

What a fun and exciting place for kids. Clean and colorful, plus the staff really seems to love children. There is nothing like it in the area. They have some great deals too! I would definitely recommend for anyone that has kids. Parties too!

Not bad but the parking is brutal. Will search for other child activities.

I brought my 6 month old here for the babies class and by the end of the class, I think I was more tired than he was. The class was 45 minutes of song, play and dance and I could tell the teacher genuinely LOVES kids. She was so sweet.
The only downside to this place is that its a little pricey. If you do not get a monthly membership it is $ 25 dollars per class. They also have 3 month commitment packages at $ 70/​month but it would not be beneficial to me due to the fact that I would not be able to go more than twice a month (I need variety in my life so my little one will have to adapt)
I looked at the party packages and they were reasonable too. All in all, I would recommend this place. It is clean, safe and kids love it.

Had my kid’s birthday party here recently. Staff was very nice and the kids had a great time. They have an inflatable indoor bouncy house (which we wished the kids would have been allowed to use longer than 10 minutes). Also, while the staff did sing songs and interact with the party they didn’t have any events to show the kids how to use their swings, slides and other equipment. What was helpful was their set up and tear down of the party favors. All in all a pretty good experience and with the above changes the review would go from 4 to 5 stars.
