Meet the Business Owner

Grover P.

Business Owner

Grover’s wife, Joan, has been hopelessly addicted to fabric since she was very young. Fabric scraps were some of her earliest toys, and she remembers standing at her mother’s side collecting scraps from the latest project she was working on. She was excited to start her own creations, and was fascinated by the color, texture and pliability of different fabrics. She later ended up working in the garment industry, where she became determined to learn as much as she could about the vast areas of work with fabric. For years, she made most of the clothing for her family, including her husband’s suits. She finally decided to blend her fascination with fabric, her experience within the industry and her strong work ethic to open The Stitchin’ Post.
