Dr. Pamela Johnson has been in private practice in Willowbrook, IL since 1991. Dr. Johnson a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, the Illinois Society of Orthodontics and the Midwest society of Orthodontics. Dr Johnson has been a member of the Northern Illinois Dentofacial Study Club for the past 16 years and served two terms as president.

Dr. Johnson specializes in orthodontics for both children and adults. Her patients range in age from 7 to 76! Her cases involve simple expanders on young children to braces on teenagers to complex adult cases. Dr. Johnson also has experience treating patients with special needs.

Dr. Johnson and her staff were honored with the iPractice Award in 2007.

Dr. Johnson has helped teach several courses at the University of Illinois Dental School over the years. She has lectured on how to treat patients with special needs in an orthodontic setting at the Autism One Conference held here in Chicago for the past four years. She also guest lectures at local study club meetings.

Being an orthodontist is such a rewarding profession on so many levels. Not only do I have the opportunity to correct imperfect bites which improves a patient’s medical and dental health, but I also get to use my artistic side to create beautiful smiles which improve a patient’s self-​esteem. This can change a patient’s life forever!

As a mother of three teenagers, I understand what it’s like to be a parent of a child who needs orthodontic care. The respect, compassion, and gentleness I would expect my own children to receive is the same I give to each patient I meet. Each person in our office is as unique as their smile, and getting to know them during their time with us is always a pleasure. Whether hearing about school, sports, or work, each story I hear helps me to build a strong relationship with my patients.
