I love getting baby gifts at this store. They have a unique selection of well-made outfits and unusual small toys and books that they will gift wrap for free. Friendly staff and hassle free shopping with ample parking.

I had a few minutes to kill before an appointment in wilmette and chose to spend them here after seeing the children’s clothing in the window. The store is ginormous(half kiddie stuff and the other side for«grown ups»). I spent all my time in the kiddie section — funny how my shopping habits have changed since having children. They have a nice selection of fleeces and other coats to get our kids thru our horrible winters. Many of them were on sale racks, which would have excited me if I hasn’t taken care of all that at the nordstrom anniversary sale last month. Nothing else on the kids racks really caught my eye. They also have a bunch of toys for a variety of age groups– good spot to buy a gift if you’re in the area. They were somewhat busy, but one of the sales reps made sure to ask me if there was anything particular I was looking for. I wouldn’t go out of my way to go back, but may stop back in the next time I’m in the area.

Great selection of outerwear, and always amazing customer service. They also have cheap name labels that say on all types of fabric really well.

This was THE local place while I was in jr. high. Probably because it had lots of fashionable Columbia jackets and tTurtle Fur accessories. Riding my bike downtown, armed with babysitting money I would search the racks. But that was the 90’s and to be honest I haven’t been there since. But since its doors are still open I will assume they have evolved with the times and probably offer North Face or something else that is the equivalent to the Columbia trend my jr high experienced back in the day.
