London Limos Ltd

Wow. Very disappointed. James C Nikita’s (owner of London Limos) not a man of his word. Not to be trusted. Lucky, i stoped the check on time cause he even tried to cash it. I did find another trolley company that supplied my company with a lovely double decker, price is alittle more, but I would rather pay a couple dollars more than to get burned for $ 1800. My stop payment was $ 25. I am glad we went with our gut feeling to request to see his rentals. The photos he uses when he try’s to sell you these rentals are probably 20yrs old cause the bus was rusted and look like it was falling apart. he needed the down payment to do repairs. I gave him the benifits of the doubt, but the Unilocal reviews are all true. For a man that claims to have been in business for fourth years, dishonesty is all I can say! Very disappointed. I highly recommend you take a look and even more take a ride before you decide to put a down payment on his rentals. I really wanted to rent the 1939 double decker for our company outing, but it was nothing like his brochure. Beware!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! We used them for our wedding and Jim promised us everything, but delivered nothing. Some examples:
–Our ceremony was delayed because the exhaust was spititng out black debris that got on my wife’s dress. They had to rush her in a changing room to clean her dress.
–Jim claims you can bring CD’s or an IPOD for the trolley. Too bad his equipment doesn’t work. I saw a previous review about the same issue and thought it was a 1x thing. It’s not!!!
–The trolley had pieces held on with duct tape! It looked like a piece junk.
–You could not stand on the outside platform because of the previously mentioned exhaust debris.
–Jim drives like a maniac. He was going full speed over a speed bump. He got out of the trolley on a slanted road and did not put on the parking brake. He had to run back in to make sure the trolley didn’t run into the intersection. FYI, people were on the trolley when this happened.
–He claimed the trolley could seat 35+. Not a chance. A lot of people were left standing.
Luckily we had enough cocktails on board where the wedding party could make a joke of the trolley!
These a just a few of the things that went wrong. He brushed us off everytime we tried getting in contact with him after the fact. I promise you, it’s worth spending extra to go with a better company. You will be disappointed!!!

I got married the weekend of 7÷23÷11 and decided to use London Limos because of my interaction with Jim (the owner). I did my research before choosing my transportation vendor and because of some weak reviews on Unilocal,I was a little concerned about London Limos. However, in the end, Jim addressed every concern I had before I put down the deposit. For our wedding, we reserved a trolley and an open-​top ’59 Bentley. A couple days ahead of the wedding Jim let me know there was an issue with the Bentley but he would take care of it. In order to make up for this, he provided an identical hard-​top ’59 Bentley and an additional trolley for my guests at no extra charge. It all worked out perfectly and he left me with a very happy bride on the big day. Jim even made a surprise appearance at our reception and provided us with copies of our pictures from earlier in the day. It was totally unexpected and extremely thoughtful. Jim is a good guy and I recommend using London Limos.
PS — My review is not connected to the other reviews from ⁸⁄₁₅. The multiple positive reviews on the same day have concerned me in the past…

We used the executive midi for our wedding party transportation in early October. The vehicle showed up on time and they charged us what they say they would, that is where we stopped with our satisfaction.
We were several people shy of the 22 person max and could not have fit anymore people. Our photographer, the 19^th body, had to sit on the floor by the driver. There a large patch of duct tape on the outside, looked very cheap and sketchy. The windows were not tinted and the seating got very warm since the air conditioning didn’t seem to work. The multimedia gear was old and only the radio worked.
This was the one regret we had on our wedding day. Should have gone elsewhere.

I’m suspicious. Four five star reviews all on the same day?
I think you should read the filtered reviews before you commit. I was subcontracted to do work for London Limo’s and while I admit showed up late Mr. Nikitas has yet to pay for seven hours of service. Want to do business with someone who doesn’t pay his bills? I don’t think so. I received excuse after excuse but never got paid. It’s been over a year so I think I’ve been had! I wonder if he simply kept the monies or if he re-​imbursed his clients, I guess I’ll never know.

Please do not use London Limos! They are a terrible company and they have the worst customer service.
The trolley was dirty, had no air conditioning, and had no music. I don’t know how other people gave this place a good review, I assume they must be a plant for the company. The other bad reviews listed are pretty much exactly what happened to us also. I wish I would have read them before we booked with Jim (who is so unreliable and unprofessional it is ridiculous).
Our emails and complaints are not being responded to. We have been very reasonable with him, but now we are getting angry. It is so sad that there are people like this in the world, but there are, and please do my wife and I a favor and do not make the same mistake we did. Go with someone reliable for your transportation needs!

Man, I don’t know who this Jackie woman is but I’ve used London Limos several times and have been completely satisfied on every occasion. I’ve rented Trolleys and Buses from them for large (and boisterous) parties and everyone had a great time. I haven’t rented their Rolls Royces before but I’ve taken a look at them and they’re top notch classic cars, so I can’t imagine anyone having a problem with them either.
The drivers show up on time and are always friendly and courteous. I’ve never had any problems with the trolleys or buses offered by the company and the buses have plenty of room for a large number of people (I think we had around 30). There is plenty of storage space for drinks, snacks, or ice on both the bus and the trolley so I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants to organize a barcrawl or group transportation to a concert/​wedding/​dinner party/​etc.

If I could give negative stars I totally would. A year ago my husband and I hired Jim Nikitas to provide an old fashioned trolley for our wedding. He was supposed to pick up the bridal party and some family after our ceremony and drive us around the city for a few hours to take pictures. I called Jim days before the wedding to firm up plans and he managed to NOT show up after the ceremony. Some one from my party had to call Jim and make him come pick us up. He said he had forgotten, or something ridiculously unprofessional. We had to wait around for him to show up, and when he did show up he did NOT have the vehicle we ordered, he had a MORE EXPENSIVE vehicle that he tried to get us to pay more for! His behavior was completely shady and awful. DO NOT use this service, even if you have everything in writing. Jim Nikitas is completely unreliable.

I had a terrible experience with London Limos. They were great and helpful up until the day of my wedding. Their prices were a little higher than other companies and they said it was because their trolleys were very nice and had air conditioning. Well… when the trolley showed up on my wedding day the air conditioning wasn’t working (which they knew but sent the trolley anyways without telling us) the CD player wasn’t working and there was a big light bulb filled with dirty water that broke all over my wedding dress on the way to the church after the driver thought it was a good idea to fly over a speed bump at 40mph. I called and complained and they refused to send another trolley or substitute limo. I called after the event as well and have not recieved a call back, despite my multiple attempts. Do not use this company, they promise you the world then send you a piece of garbage without a second thought!

DO NOT USE LONDON LIMOS! I wish I could give negative stars!!! They didn’t come to take the girls and I to church, to pick up my husband and the groomsmen, and didn’t show up at the church to take us to the reception. The owner Jim was unresponsive to 99% of our phone calls that day, he answered at one point and told my one BM «call a cab sweetheart». Also, he knew I had a day of coordinator and never once called her to tell her that the trolley wouldn’t be showing up. We got one message on a cell phone and the only reason that even happnened was my one bridesmaid kept calling and leaving messages with her cell phone number PLEADING for a phone call at least saying if we could expect the company to send the trolley, as they were breaching a contract, and if for some reason they couldn’t if they could help us find ANY other means of transportation with some of the connections in the industry the owner Jim rattled off when I first booked them. Yeah… still no response. Needless to say we are not on good terms right now. Currently a relative who is an attorney is drafting a letter and we will subpoena him to small claims court if he continues to be unresponsive. My wedding was July 7 and still no refund check or call confirming he has sent a check… how promising. Hopefully the letter goes out tomorrow or Thursday. I managed to get the guy on the phone the day after the wedding (oh wait, first I told him who I was and after a brief start to the conversation he hung up on me) so I called back and asked why he didn’t help us in finding other transportation or even explain why they didn’t show and he basically gave me an answer because our date was so popular it would have been too much work for him… hmmm…then how did my sister in law find a limo within 30 minutes of him not showing up to church? It was such an upsetting thing the day of the wedding, my sweet husband even told me I could get a second wedding band to distract me from the situation because I was in such despair over the pictures we missed out on showing up an hour and a half late to the reception and not being able to do a receiving line. Please save yourself the trouble and get a responsible well recommended transportation company. Also, check them out on the BBB– they have complaints against them that have gone unanswered.
