Salon Fusion has made Wilmette its home for the past 6 years and offers our clients a high end salon experience in a tranquil and comfortable space. With stylists who trained in New York, Canada, London and Italy; we continue to seek advanced training from industry leaders i.e. Bumble and Bumble, Vidal Sassoon, and Toni and Guy.

We infuse the fast paced, progressive fashion trends and make them available to our clients by incorporating the latest styles into everyday life.

Salon Fusion is owned and operated by stylists; Giuseppe and Dmitriy who keep their finger on the pulse of our clients. They remain current by having a loyal clientele base and their objective is to bring to life our client’s visions and make it repeatable at home.

Salon Fusion values the importance of quality products and has proudly partnered with Kerastase, Bumble & Bumble, Redken and Goldwell Color along with a few other select brands.

Giuseppe S.

Business Owner

With over 18 yrs in the hair industry Giuseppe started his passion in a salon in Downtown Chicago. He worked at Mario Tricoci Hair Salon and Day Spa in Old Orchard as their Creative Director for over 10yrs. He has trained in LA, New York, Miami, Canada, London, and Italy at various institutions such as Vidal Sassoon, Toni & Guy, Rusk, Bumble and Bumble and with Nick Arojo, from «what not to wear». In addition, Giuseppe is a certified Bumble and Bumble Network Educator, a certified Great Lengths Hair Extension Specialist, a certified Brazilian Keratin Treatment Specialist, and is certified with Mizani Relaxers. He also specializes in Thermal Straightening, and So Cap Extension. Giuseppe has participated in several make over shows on television such as Jenny Jones and the Oprah Winfrey Show. His work has been published in North Shore Magazine, In-​Style Magazine, and the Chicago Tribune. He’s also been featured in Chicago Health and Beauty on their «Make Over of the Month».

Love love love everything about this salon! As a former shampoo girl I know what to look for when I go into a salon to see how well it’s run and the owners are doing a great job!
The salon itself was beautiful from the outside and just as glamorous on the inside with great lighting and clean simple décor inside — enough to make you feel welcomed yet fancy enough to make you feel like your getting a full day of pampering! Everything well well dusted and spotless!
They have very updated shampoo bowls — I could have sat there there all day and just had my hair washed!
I received a haircut and was so so happy about it! The technique used was amazing and I’ve never had my hair sit so well after a cut! Will definitely be coming back!
The only suggestion I can give is to have some type of «refreshment» bar — with glasses and simple cucumber water, sparkling water and juice. It’s the only thing missing from feeling like a complete spa getaway!

Recently opened up a magnificent location including state of the art spa which I finally got to personally experience yesterday. I had highlights done for he first time (I’m looking for someone new to do my hair since old stylist moved) I was not happy with my highlights and called the salon a few weeks later. The manager was very understanding and scheduled me to have my hair highlighted again (free of charge) by someone else, Chantal, who did an amazing job! I decided to get my haircut as well. Senan (not sure how to spell it) did an amazing job with the cut. My hair is difficult to cut but he was very meticulous and gave me a great cut. I am very happy with the results and how accommodating the salon is to make sure the client is satisfied.

Randall gave me such a wonderful cut. I talked to him about what I wanted, and what I didn’t like about my recent cuts, and he said, «So does it feel like every cut you get ends up being the Liberty Bell?» It was so right on and so funny! He gave me the best cut I’ve had in years, and a killer blow dry that lasted for days.

Went to Salon Fusion for a complimentary cut by one of their trainees, Randall. What a disaster!
Randall is entirely too chatty and opinionated about hair care product lines. I’d much rather you concentrate on your work and hold off on the chit-​chat. He also seems to have a very difficult time following directions. While he was cutting, his work was being observed by the salon owner and when instructions were given, he’d either do the opposite of what he was told or did something completely different. The salon owner even has to correct some of his mistakes. Unfortunately, you can only correct mistakes so much.
The end result I received is a cut about 3 inches shorter than I would have ever wanted. The layers I wanted turned out to be a blunt-​cut bob with a small piece on each side that’s shorter than the rest. I’ll be growing this mess out until Christmas!
I’m giving Salon Fusion 3 stars, because they were nice enough to cut my boyfriend’s hair for free while he was waiting for me and he looks great! I guess man hair is a little more goof-​proof.
My haircut and the quality of the service I received is more like a 2 star rating. This is a very nice salon and everyone we encountered was very nice, but I would only go back and try one of their experienced stylists. Randall has a looong way to go!

Randall is the best. He has been cutting my hair for 6 years and I can not imagine having someone else style my hair. His scalp massage during the shampoo service is to die for. Randall is the only reason I tried Salon Fusion and needless to say I will follow him where ever his career takes him.
Now about Salon Fusion:
Randall has finally found a salon as classy as his service. The atmosphere of Salon Fusion is upscale but the prices are affordable.
I can not speak for for quality of the other technicians as I have only used Randall, but if he is there its a good chance every one there rocks.

I love Dimitri. I have been his client for over 2 years. I trust him and I let him cut my hair anyway he thinks will look good. I have never been unhappy or disappointed with the results. Bottom line is, I will never let anyone else touch my hair.

I had my hair cut with Olga. It’s the best cut I’ve had in years, honestly. She listened to what I wanted and then told me what she would do to ensure that I would have the most styling options. I could tell that she really took into consideration all the quirks of my hair (it’s very thick and unevenly curly, so it isn’t easy to cut or style).
Olga worked quickly and efficiently, all while making easy conversation. I walked out of the salon feeling relaxed and beautiful – and as a mother of three young kids, those feelings are hard to come by, so I’m grateful every time I get to feel them. Overall, I had a really wonderful experience at Salon Fusion, and I can’t recommend Olga highly enough.

I had been on the search for a new stylist after my last one remained a bit too behind the trend for me. When I asked for a subtle blonde ombré of my brown hair, I walked out with chunky orange highlights and it was then that I «knew.» Search was on.
So, I did what any self-​respecting girl in a hair emergency would do: I called some of the more discerning (picky?) people I knew and asked them to recommend a stylist. I knew I hit the jackpot when they both recommended the same person! Enter: Chantal.
I appreciate her professionalism, the fact that she engages you as much or as little as you want, and her technique. I love my hair whenever I see her, so much so that I even followed Chantal’s recommendation and got my haircut by someone else at the salon. I was pleased with that as well.
The salon is clean, well appointed, and very inviting. I highly recommend visitng the salon and Chantal especially. You will be happy you did!

I have been to several salons in this area– all which have messed up my hair color, or have not been able to even remotely achieve what I was looking for. Thank god when I found Salon Fusion– for the last year, everything has been going great here. Francesca does my color and Guiseppe does my cut. Both are great. Francesca has taken my hair from reddish/​orange color (which I had from another salon messing it up) to ombré blonde and back to my dark brown with no problems so far– no red/​orange color ever. I feel a little awkward in the salon because it is quiet and the front desk ladies could be a little more friendly. It’s pricey/​normal for a good salon. I think it’s worth it.

First time here about a week ago, and I think the end product turned out alright. However, I don’t think the whole experience was worth $ 37 for a men’s cut. The staff was friendly, my stylist (forgot her name) did her best to work with me as a first-​timer.
My cut was pretty simple — close to the scalp and a bit of length on top to keep my head cool for the summer, and I liked the way it looked by the end of my session. The shampoo service was mediocre, the head massage was weak. During the cut, my stylist hit my ears with the teeth of her comb a handful of times. I wouldn’t mind it so much if it only happened once or twice, but I kept feeling the comb poke my ear for the whole session.
Overall, I think the place is great with a comfortable atmosphere and professional behavior, but I expected more bang for my buck.

Loved my hair cut here. I was a hair model for Dana. I also had the expertise of Dmitry and Guiseppe as assists. I got the bangs I always wanted, and my hair is so easy to maintain now. I got a lot of valuable advice and insights regarding hair style and maintenance.
This is a comfortable place for guys as well. It’s not a frilly place; the décor is clean and classy. I would recommend this salon to anyone!

I“ve been going to Salon Fusion since its beginning, after following my stylist Dmitriy from his previous salon. I’ve been consistently impressed with the friendliness of the staff, the desire to make sure that all customers’ needs are met, and the fact that I have never had a bad haircut and have always walked out not only satisfied, but genuinely happy with the way my hair looks.
The staff takes time to discuss products for sale to help you get what’s right for you. They are amazingly calm and good-​natured when appointments get changed at the last minute

Ummmm. so… I have short hair (kind of) again.
And, I like it. Because let’s face it… I am not a long hair person. I have tried. And, failed. It’s not like pixie short, but it’s…shorter.
SO thank you to the most adorable Mallory P for guiding me back to my true shorter haired self. She did a stellar job… honestly. I was her *hair model… so my cut was free. Yes, free. For one of the better haircuts I’ve had in my day. And, I’ve had a lot of them…(obviously, tips are customary, so don’t forget!)
Despite visiting many of the surrounding suburbs before I found Salon Fusion (screw Mapquest for eternity), my experience was just dandy. Warm, inviting, clean… stylish. Mallory is a doll… visit her!
*Mallory is taking «hair models» (yes, be a model!) every Monday through the winter/​spring. PM her for info!
