This place is a authentic rug store, with a unique selection and a history quality carpets. Over the years Iv purchased many Persian Turkish fine rugs. I was impressed with the knowledge and genuine love for these works of art for both the owner and employees. I would recommend this shop to anyone who appreciates fine workmanship.

My wife and I had a great experience purchasing a handmade rug from Shabahang. Following our initial visit, we shopped around (e.g. Macy’s furniture, etc.). Even at their 50% to 60% discounted rate, the handmade rugs at large retailers/​department stores were still more expensive and not as gorgeous as the rugs at Shabahang. We returned within the week to purchase a rug. «Moe» Shabahang is a very decent man, a straight shooter who takes pride in the quality and beauty of his rugs. I’d highly recommend his store to anyone in the market for a handmade rug.

An experience above and beyond my best hopes! We needed to replace an area rug and we saw the tent sale sign. I went in later and Esfahan was such a help! He patiently showed many rugs, took out the ones I liked. I said I would have to have my husband look at them and he said they would bring them to the house! The brought them the next day. Esfahan’s father and helper came. They were wonderful. After putting each of the rugs down, we all agreed on the one we liked best (even though it was not the most expensive… they are interested in a great fit and customer happiness). Mr. Shabahang measured the rug pad we had and had the helper cut it while I paid for the rug. The rug is of excellent quality and is just beautiful! We walk past it and sigh with delight. The price was also excellent with the tent sale.
From start to finish this was a wonderful experience. And we have an exquisite rug that will last generations. Thank you!!!

Lets start by saying that I’m not usually one that writes reviews, but this establishment deserves one. This is now officially my second experience with purchasing a genuine Persian rug over the last 5 years and in fact it’s my first experience with them that lead me to write this review. I’ve never meet a more genuine and experienced sales people in my life. Not only did they help get the PERFECT rug, but the passion they have for the history of these rugs is amazing. Don’t get me wrong I’m clueless when it comes to these rugs so having guidance from the Father and Son Shabahang’s really made all the difference. Even hearing their personal journey and tradition of family history that has been passed down from generation to generation is quite remarkable. GREAT COUPLE EXPERIENCES and would recommend to anyone.

The owner, M. Shabahang, is very patient in showing various pieces and explaining about their manufacture, style, and quality. He obviously takes great care to be knowledgeable about each piece he sells. The store has great variety and many styles of rugs we did not see at any other store. He had a good selection at the larger size we were looking for (12’x15’) where other stores did not. After a few trips to the store, we whittled down our selection to 4 different carpets. We still weren’t quite sure what would work in our room, so Mr. Shabahang brought them to our home and had them laid out, one by one, in the location they would be. We got an excellent rug for a great price. We would definitely recommend and buy from again.

A great place. The owner enjoys explaining the difference between different styles of Persian rugs. His enthusiasm makes looking at and learning about the carpets very enjoyable — he really wants people to know their choices and understand what makes one different from another. I visited his store several times over a few years before I bought my first carpet from him, and because he had taught me so much about the different styles I enjoy it even more. (I subsequently have been told by other experts that I got a great deal in terms of price.)
