Above and Beyond Energy

I am so glad that I called Above and Beyond Energy. Our split level home, built in the 1970’s, had issues with temperature. The upstairs literally felt like a sauna and our power bill was high because the a/​c was always running and could not cool down the upstairs enough. Above and Beyond did an energy audit, or evaluation of our home. It was very interesting as they explained where air was leaking and why we were having issues. Then they guided me through repair work such as air sealing, cooling down the attic with radiant barrier and fixing small holes in the ceiling where air was leaking. With their advice and expertise I was able to fix the climate problem in our home, reduce my energy consumption and lower my power bill.
This company absolutely lives up to their name. They were professional, reliable, easy to work with and very courteous. They even showed extra caution because we have a newborn baby and they even went out of their way not to interrupt the babies nap! You could tell that they like what they do and so do my wife and I because our home is more comfortable and our power bill has gone down which is saving us money! We even saved money right away because they worked with Progress Energy (Duke/​Progress) and qualified us for a generous rebate from the power company.
