Jason Tatum was a college student when he realized that he could make extra money simply by sharing his favorite music with others. The North Carolina native started out as a lot of young DJs do: he played gigs for fraternities and sororities. Jason’s sunny disposition, engaging sense of humor and professional integrity quickly won him a following at many bars and dance clubs.
Jason successfully organized some of the most popular «college nights» staged throughout the state before deciding to expand his business. He established Active Entertainment in 2000. Today, Active Entertainment is one of the most sought-after DJ and event-hosting services in southeastern North Carolina. Each year, Jason and his staff DJ more than 200 weddings and dozens of corporate events. Active Entertainment’s staff are professionally trained club DJs who specialize in taking the art of music mixing to private events.
