Bartlett Tree Experts

The techs came out for a tick spray application and it worked immediately! We were literally taking 4 or 5 ticks off our dog EVERY DAY we would take him outside in the yard. The day that the techs came, the ticks immediately stopped. I’d definitely recommend them.
You get what you pay for with tree service. Trust me. Yea, it’s not cheap, but they do it right the first time and they do it safely.

I have used Bartlett Tree Experts Wilmington for the past 8 years. I would consider no other company for my plant and tree maintenance. They are the gold standard when it comes to tree and plant care. Pete Kingshill (manager) and staff are knowledeable and responsive. My plants and trees look great and Bartlett has had a lot to do with that. People compliment me all the time about my landscaping.

My parents purchased a retirement home in Delaware about 7 years ago and had a very large but very beautiful tree in the backyard. My dad employed Bartlett’s Tree Service shortly after purchasing the house to maintain this beautiful, extra large tree. The technicians came out several times a year (for 7 years) to treat & maintain this tree; so it was shocking to our family when, 3 weeks ago, the tree broke about a foot above the roots and fell to the ground! The tree was TOTALLY hollowed out! Completely DEAD!!! WTH??? We’ve been paying so called «tree experts» to treat a dead tree? How does that happen? It happens when a company is NOT experts AT ALL. When the tech came out, he had no explanation as to how and this happened. Don’t throw your money away with a company that doesn’t know if a tree is dead or alive AND still takes your money FOR YEARS. I mean, isn’t that what a «tree expert» is supposed to know at the most basic level? Maybe with real tree experts, but that wouldn’t be this company.

Bartlett has done great maintenance work on our trees for many years now including pruning back tall trees and bracing a pear tree in our front yard. We have always been very happy with the work they do.
Unfortunately Mother Nature had other plans for our backyard paradise and subsequently iced over and toppled five 20 foot tall trees on our property (fortunately not on our house thanks to an extra sturdy swing set). We called Bartlett and they were out there the following day and removed the trees. They did such a great job cleaning up all of the debris and did a wonderful job.
Hopefully this is the last time I need to have trees removed from my yard but if I do I know who I will call!
