Dropped in here with a tire that had a slow leak. It was almost closing time for them but I was still greeted with a smile and told that they could help me if I didn’t mind waiting for a few minutes.
The waiting lobby is the standard stuff, semi comfy chairs, stuff for kids to occupy themselves, tv, snack machines. While this is a tire shop it did not have that overwhelming aroma of rubber. In my book that’s a great thing!
I didn’t wait long before my tire was fixed and ready to go! Looks like I had a nail in the center of my tire. The pulled it and plugged it and I was ready to roll! $ 23 later I was out of there!

Been to several Black’s Tire before and they’ve always been courteous, fair and honest. Came in to the Market St. location this week with a nail in my tire, they had me in and out in about an hour with my tires fixed and rotated for $ 40 some dollars.

Took my car to AAA for inspection and they told me I needed all four tires fixed and a belt. Told me they would fix for $ 850. Took my car elsewhere to get two new tires (not four) and came to blacks for a reinspection. My car passed. AAA was trying to screw me out of money and backs provide the service that I asked for without trying to profit.
The time estimate they gave me on my car was met and I was not stuck sitting around for 45 mins like at AAA.
The front desk staff does not have the best friendly voice ever, but they care about their customers and their cars! Will go here next time and recommend for inspections.

Very disappointed with the service at this service center. Had a 7:30 appointment and my car is still untouched on the lot at 9am. All that is needed is a state inspection. Will be looking elsewhere for future car repair needs.

That we’re very short and not very friendly at all. Took a very long time to get any of my questions answered. Would not want to go back.

Lady at the front desk (Debbie) was super nice and handled everything I needed politely.

First time here, and I am very pleased with the service. The lady at the counter gave me a slight discount because of the dollar amount of my purchase. I went to Costco earlier and they were unable to help me. Blacks tire did an awesome job, and the price was on point. I spent $ 40 more than I was quoted at Costco, but I also got an alignment, and a better tire.

To Start, I am only giving 2 starts because they eventually made it some what right… of course I had to speak with a manager. My experience was just o.k. I had to do my homework! I had a Michelin tire warranty issue. The store contacted michelin, michelin prorated the warranty to purchase a new set of tires. The price of the new tires seemed a little high after the clerk looked on his computer, and punched the adding machine a few times. I stated to order them, but I would like to check the prices at nearby retailers. I was told that they may not be able to «price match «due to warranty. I called the nearest competitor, the price of identical tire was $ 50 cheaper. Contacted nearest blacks tire, tire was $ 40 cheaper than quoted. So, the day the tires were to be in stock I showed up, addressed my concern with the price — even at this sister store. Was told again… Due to warranty concern you will have to speak to the manager. Spoke with him. He did state (which I already knew) that Black’s Tire is reimbursed by Michelin so, it don’t matter if you pay + or — the $ 40 difference. I stated that $ 160 to a consumer is A LOT of money And he agreed and matched the sister store. My point in writing this review is DO YOUR HOMEWORK… Also, I took a step further a few days later and Looked up the Michelin owners manual/​tire plan. Page three of this document states «The Michelin tire retailer will determine the portion for which you will be responsible by multiplying the percentage of the original usable tread worn, by the current selling price at the adjustment location or the price in the current Michelin Base Price List, whichever is LOWER». Totally not what was done in my situation.
