Gluten free foods, Carving stations, Speciality Stations, Buffets, Corporate Events, Banquets, Fund– Raisers and Chef Services are available. We are known best for custom designing each menu for your special event, large or small. Brides and Groom-to-be enjoy taste sampling and menu input of memories that they have experienced which brought them to this happy occasion.

Samuel B. Lawler IV, Executive Chef of Catering Thyme, he is the 6th generation to a long line of ancestors tracing back to the early 1900’s and evolving to a mother and son, family owned and operated business. A graduate of Johnson & Wales University, Chef Sam is certified in Nutrition, Food & Beverage, Classical French and Gluten Free Option He was awarded The People’s Choice Award for Shrimp & Grits at 2014 Epicurean Evening.

Samuel B. Lawler IV, Executive Chef of Catering Thyme, is commonly known as Chef Sam. He is the 6th generation to a long line of ancestors tracing back to the early 1900’s and evolving to a mother and son, family owned and operated business. A graduate of Johnson & Wales University, Chef Sam is certified in Nutrition, Service, Food & Beverage cost control, Classical French and custom designed Gluten Free Menus. He is best know for his Beef Carving Stations and Shrimp & Grits. In September 2014, Chef won The People’s Choice Award at the annual Epicurean Evening for the Methodist Home for Children. Chef Sam is also a Platinum Sponsor for the Annual Wilmington Wine & Chocolate Festival, guests can delight in The Grand Tasting Friday Evening.
Chef is passionate about Gluten Free Foods, and has achieved a wide variety of menu choices for those like himself, who follow a strict diet.
Undoubtedly Chef Sam is a young talent today, who will undoubtedly lead Catering Thyme into the future.
