Great stop when in the area, C.J. and Tina provided excellent service. Tried the brisket fries and they were delicious.

This place is awesome!!! Even though the wait was 1 hour long we were able to walk around downtown and was texted be Jill (who was so friendly) when our table was ready!!! Got the crab cake sandwich… delishhhh!!! Fresh cut fries… awesome! The service was amazing!!! Miranda was our server and she was so attentive and had a great personality!!! Will be back for sure!!!

Best.Cheeseburger.Ever. On my first visit here, I wandered by on a Friday evening and bellied up to the bar. Very small and cozy here. Service is very friendly and helpful. I couldn’t decide between having a special or a burger. And I finally decided on the burger. I got the Lew bacon cheeseburger all the way. I am rarely able to finish a meal. But with this burger, it was so incredible I could not stop eating! The bun was hearty enough to stand up to the hot and juicy cheeseburger patty, which was topped with a thick slice of tomato, wearing a slice of red onion like a tiara. I can not say enough about how great it was. The fries here are also amazing. On another visit, we got the Brussel sprouts in place of the fries. Can not wait to go back!

The food was really good. I had the Hot Mess burger and my friend had the Crispy Chicken sandwich. The unique quality ingredients put together makes Fork n Cork a worthwhile spot to try multiple dishes. I highly recommend

My family and I went here for dinner the other day. I had read a bunch of reviews that spoke very highly of the restaurant so I was a little worried that my expectations were going to be too high but they definitely met them. I had the beef wellington bites they were amazing! I also had mac and chees with shrimp and an egg yolk on top it was awsome! My wife had the poutine it was also delicious. Our waitress I think her name is Tina was great! I can’t wait to go back!

Seriously some of the best food I have ever experienced! I say experience and I mean it! The Mac N’ Cheese was to die for! I’ve never had anything better than that! Also, the Texas Poutine fries are absolutely amazing! I had the Hay Dios Mio burger and it was pretty spicy (I love spicy food!) but it still had wonderful flavor! You can also call ahead to reserve your spot which is awesome on busy nights, but make sure you call wayyyy early, it gets pretty packed. I think they are gonna need to get a bigger space SOON! :)

The owner and food are absolutely legit. They could raise prices by 10% and still have a waiting list to get in.

Very yummy! I was a little skeptical because it was more of a bar with a few tables — with ambience, mind you — but it was so delicious. We had trouble deciding on menu choices because it had such a variety of unique combinations, but we settled on their daily special — basically a club dipped in funnel cake batter and fried with fries. Not the least bit healthy but the most bit yummy! It was enough to share for sure.

I can’t wait to go back! I had the duck duck goose burger with fries and it was amazingly rich and flavorful. It’s pretty heavy so be prepared to be stuffed if you can finish the whole thing. The pâté and the egg, wonderfully runny, on there were perfection. Even the pickle on the side was a standout. My friends ordered the Hot Mess, which was giant, and another burger (forgot name) with brisket and bbq. One got a side of mac & cheese that was quite a generous side portion and absolutely amazing. Also, apparently everything is homemade!
I wonder if they sell jars of their pickles…

Have to come during the weekend and try the brisket biscuit, its so so good.
There is a parking lot around the corner, sometimes people that are leaving will give you their parking ticket.

This place was great start to finish. Called a few minutes ahead to reserve a table and it was ready to go when we got there (about 6 on a Friday). We were served awesome beverages of all sorts– beers, wine, a mint julep, gimlets and a few other assorted cocktails. Our server was Nicole and she was great. Very friendly and patient– we all had just come from another bar and a few of us had sampled (several) other beverages at another establishment. ANYWAYS… She would have earned 5 stars just for putting up with our drunk asses with a good sense of humor. But to add to it the food was spot on, service was good, vibe was good. Surprised to see a bit of an older crowd that night (time of day maybe?) but they didn’t judge us rowdy young folk. Fun time had by all

I found a new favorite restaurant! I went to Fork N Cork last night for my 30^th birthday. It was difficult to choose what I wanted to order because everything was so delicious! Our server/​bartender took the time to describe all of the amazing choices on the menu even though it was very busy. She made great suggestions and we finally decided to try the duck wings and Wellington bites. It was perfect! I do want to go back to try the burgers, Mac n cheese, or the pot pie. The brunch menu was enticing as well. They have specials of each, every week. I was so impressed!

Had four dishes with wife and daughter and each one was delicious. Build your own grilled cheese sandwich, beet and goat cheese salad, brussels sprouts with panchetta, and duck wings with two sauces. If we went again we would probably each order the same thing.
A couple of hiccups along the way — they forgot the goat cheese on the salad and it took a while to get us our beer. But our server was generally very friendly and energetic.
The dining room here is small — a few tables and some seats at the bar and a couple tables outside. We only waited 10 minutes, but I would have waited longer for food this good.

A friend and I went for dinner 845 pm yesterday evening. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. I had a glass of riesling, my friend a cucumber bloody mary that was absolutely delicious. The waitress let her sample a bit first which was nice. I’d go back just for that.
My friend had the lamb burger, she said it was great. I had the hay mios dio which was a beef burger avocado onion chipotle mayo. The burger was cooked perfectly but the flavors were a little blah. Throw some heat in that mayo, maybe a sprig of cilantro!
Things got a little wonky at the app we ordered, rattlesnake bites. As a precursor I am of Cuban descent and my friend being Mexican, we love spicy food. These bites were hot as HELL. I took the first bite and my friend asked if I was having an asthma attack, legitimately. There is a distinct difference between delicious intense heat and an inferno in your mouth. The real issue was when I saw it on the bill and we didn’t eat one of them between the two of us. The waitress said well I told you they were spicy. My friend wasn’t going for that so the manager ended up coming out and saying it was more important us coming back than paying for something we couldn’t eat, so she saved the day. She also assured us people loved them and the seeds are cleaned out and it seemed sincere, we may have just got some rogue seeds. Just please be weary of these things.

After hearing so many great reviews about this place I decided to come here for my birthday dinner. Got there around 9ish and first thought when I walked in was «wow this place is small» they were packed and a lady said the wait would be 45 – 1 hour wait but she would text us when our table was ready which was pretty nice. Walked around downtown and finally got a text. Ordered the Texas poutine as a appetizer and we waited forever for them and once we got the fries they were cold and the toppings were warm. We were all hungry so it didn’t matter. Overall the fries were reg fries but the toppings were what made it really good. I ordered the Carolina burger and it looked like a big slider and was it the best burger no but it wasn’t bad. My friend got a chicken sandwich with fries. The breading for the chicken was really flavorful and huge it was bigger than the bun, fries were average. My other friend got a patty melt and Mac and cheese as her side. Patty melt was a reg patty melt but their Mac and cheese is no joke. If you need to try one thing from there it’s their Mac and cheese it’s killer! Price is a bit high, service was ehh but I heard it’s never all that great. I’ll return if I’m ever downtown.

Amazing food artisans who spare no expense making your food sing. The food received matches or exceeds expectations for price. I cannot rave enough about this place.
The staff was laid back and cordial, and again the food. Amazing. As a self proclaimed Reuben sandwich snob after 5 years living in philly, this place does the Reuben sandwich major justice. Bravo. Keep up the great work. I will be back soon!!!

Hands down my new favorite spot in Wilmington! This is the old downtown Slice of Life spot so it’s pretty small, but totally worth a visit.
My main rave about Fork N Cork is that the staff is super friendly and thorough. What do I mean by thorough? I have food allergies and our server was super great about telling me my options (FYI they have gluten free buns y’all, that’s music to my ears whenever I’m eating at a restaurant!), plus my friend was in the mood for a certain drink, which they couldn’t make because they didn’t have a particular liquor. The server stood with her for several minutes trying to come up with a concoction that might come close to what she was craving.
The menu is super creative (duck wings? poutine? where else would you find those items on a menu in North Carolina?) and the specials are mouthwatering. I went kind of basic, or so I thought, and ordered a chicken salad sandwich. Let me tell you I’ve been dreaming about that chicken salad ever since and almost went back to the next night!
We got right in on a Thursday night, but you might want to plan your visit accordingly on weekend nights or during downtown events.
But definitely do go to Fork N Cork immediately!

We started off with the duck wings and the Brussel sprouts. Yum! The duck wings comes with a choice of sauce and we chose the sweet and spicy sauce which was great! The Brussel sprouts are flashed fried in duck fat with pancetta. These were addictive!
Not sure why I went to a burger joint and ordered a salad but I did and added salmon. It was good but nothing earth shattering. It the pimento cheese burger with bacon jam… yum!

Loved the Patty Wagon and still love Fork n Cork. We had a lot of out of town guests eat here while they were in town for our wedding and we didn’t hear a single complaint. Great selection for people wanting more than a burger, although you can’t go wrong with their classic burgers, since that’s what put them on the map.
Creative menu, friendly staff and owner, and good downtown location. Expect to wait if you hit them during meal time since the space is small but it’s worth it.

As someone visiting from Cleveland, I had heard great things about this restaurant from my family that had recently moved down to Wilmington. While the wait was long (as I anticipated for its hype) the food was well worth it! We started off with the Texas Poutine for an appetizer where the house smoked brisket melted in my mouth as it paired perfectly on top of the cheese fries.
I started off with the house Bloody Mary which was less Bloody more Mary – which I thoroughly enjoyed. Then came time for the Hot Mess burger I had ordered, and please pause for reaction as I salivate thinking about it again. How could one go wrong ordering a burger that has bacon, jalapenos, grilled onions, blue cheese and cheddar? As a self-​proclaimed burger connoisseur, this burger did wonders for me.
