My experience with JGC was very good. I found the vehicle that I wanted on
. An email to them, a phone call from them and a trip to the coast resulted in a purchase. The sales manager assigned Sam Saunders (ASK4SAM) to me and assisted with a thorough explanation of the operation of the car, a test drive with him, a test drive with my wife and a rather simple completion of the paperwork.
After my return home, Sam was responsive in answering a few questions that I had and could not find answers in the owners manual. I would go back again, given the same circumstances.

Almost two months ago I made my first adult purchase and bought a car here. I was at the dealership for a pink event and decided to look at a vehicle. I saw a few I was interested in but couldn’t commit so I decided to do some research and come back.
I returned two weeks later determined to buy a new car. I was looking for a four door car with good gas milage and had specific price I was trying to stay under. After looking around the lot for what I thought I wanted the sales guy showed me a Prius that was heavily discounted because it had been sitting on the lot for a while. It was love at first sight. When I found out more details on the specs on the car I was sold. The sales manager and credit guy worked with me to get a loan with low interest. Just made my first car payment and I couldn’t be happier with both the service and my new car.

I was interested in trading in my Corvette and went to talk to the used car group at Jeff Gordon Chevy. When I arrived they proceeded to collect a lot of information about me and the car. I soon found out, they were entering all of this data into the Autotrader website. When I pointed at the sign that read Jeff Gordon Chevrolet and asked why they were entering all of my information on Autotrader, the Used Car Sales Manager, Jason Teets became very belligerent with me and threw me off the property. As I was leaving, he continued to ridicule me and at one point as I was returning to my car, he advanced at me and I feared for my safety. I left the lot and went straight to the New car group to lodge a complaint. Mr. Teets peer, took my contact information told me the GM would be in touch with me. No attempt was made by Jeff Gordon Chevrolet to contact me. More than a year passed and I had taken my car the service department. When there I asked why they never contacted me. I was told they were not interested in speaking to me, because Mr. Teets claimed to his supervision that I was the aggressor.
Now that my car is out of warranty, that was the last time that I will ever patronize this dealership.
In the number of times that I used the service department, I had to return my car for rework, to correct the mistakes made by their technicians. I also do not appreciate the arrogant service writers either. Stay away!
Mark S. please do not leave a comment telling me how you want me to contact you in order to work this out. You are obviously not interested since you had the chance and you chose not to already.

Just a friendly warning to other local corvette owners to avoid doing business with Jeff Gordon Chevrolet in Wilmington, NC.
I purchased a C7 from them and have had problems with the service department improperly changing the oil, using the wrong oil and even leaving the oil cap off.
When brought the attention of the dealer, they refused to acknowledge their wrongdoing, refused to apologize and furthermore refused to perform any further warranty or recall work on the car.
Even after paying $ 82,000 for their most expensive vehicle at the time and spending thousands on their platinum extended warranty, they refuse to honor the warranty. Extremely poor business practices, inept service department and no desire to correct their actions.
It seems they want nothing to do with corvette owners except to take their money.
They don’t deserve your money and your corvette deserves better!

Errington Licorisch was great at helping me select the right suv for me. He took the time to listen to what I needed and was very patient and professional in showing me everything that met my needs. I have other Chevrolet vehicles and I would see Errington almost every time I was in for servicing. He was never pushy and always very pleasant so he was my first choice when I was considering purchasing another vehicle.
I was so pleased with the vehicle, and sales team (Errington, Ryan, and Nick)/process that I went the next day and purchased a second vehicle for a family member!
If you’re considering a new/​used vehicle save yourself some time and ask for Errington.

I went to Jeff Gordon about a week ago trying to see what kind of vehicles they had. I told them what I was looking for and they gave recommendations that really fit what I was looking for. The salesman was knowledgeable and friendly.

I have been wanting to purchase a Colorado for several months, so when the 2016 models starting arriving at dealerships, I started shopping. It was not easy finding a Colorado with the equipment package I was seeking (z71 4×4 v6) but the Ryan (sales consultant) came through. He found one at another dealership in the Hendrick’s dealer network. Apparently, the other dealer was not sufficiently motivated to give up their truck, but they were somehow finally convinced (it took nearly 5 days of haggling between the dealerships) and Ryan drove 8 hrs round trip one afternoon to get the truck. In the end, the team at Jeff Gordon came through. I would happily recommend them to friends and family.

came in for detailing. we have a 2011 chevy traverse and we have two toddler, we drove from Alaska to north carolina with the two toddlers so the suv was pretty much a disaster very very dirty. the detail crew gave me back basically a new car, I couldn’t have asked for a better job. thank you jeff gordon crew, amazing job.

This is a great dealership and I highly recommend them for your service needs and for purchasing a car. I am from New York City where things are often rushed and common courtesies get lost-​in-​translation. It’s nice to have worked with a dealership that was so warm, accommodating, and professional.

Not only are the salesmen here rude and arrogant, they do not care about the quality of car they sell to their customers. I have had nothing but problems while dealing with them. I bought a car and less than 24 hours later the check engine light came on.
I then had to take the car back to get it serviced where they gave no time limit as to when the car would be ready and people sitting next to me have been waiting 3+ hours for a simple tire change.
I am a chevy person, but would never recommend this chevy dealership. It is my opinion that it would be worth your while to drive across country for a car before coming anywhere near this place.

My husband and I have had our first and last experience with this dealership. We have never been treated so unprofessional as we were here. My husband spent over 4 hours filling out paperwork there. He came home and had me go online to do the same. Next morning salesman called to see if we had done it. and said he would get back to us. Several hours later my husband called back. Got his voicemail so left a message to please get back to us. 3 hours later we finally got a call back and were told Oh we sold that car. at 10:00 this morning. This was without a doubt the worst customer service we have ever received. I would not recommend them to anyone.

If your looking to have your vehicle serviced at Jeff Gordon you might want to make the drive to Safeway Chevrolet. I’ve been dealing with Jeff Gordon for warranty work for over a year and my experience with them is anything but satisfactory. Two times my battery has died on me and they have told me that the battery is fine. Yesterday I brought my Fleet truck in to have two nails pulled out of my tire and after 3hours they only pulled and patched up one tire. Stay away from Jeff Gordon Chevrolet!

Like others, in the service department it was near impossible for a representative to acknowledge my presence, much less greet me. In for recall repairs, I was treated like a third class citizen. My vehicle sat on the lot for 34 days waiting for repairs, upon their arrival I was informed I needed almost two-​thousand dollars in additional repairs to be road worthy again, yet after paying, my vehicle could not even get me off the property before having the SAME. EXACT. MALFUNCTIONS.
I believe my car was horribly misdiagnosed and I paid for unnecessarily repairs. Not only that, they failed to provide any written repair estimate before beginning work as required by the North Carolina Motor Vehicle Repair Act, Section 20 – 354.3. and in that same vein of dishonestly, an additional procedure was performed without my consent. Upon bringing this to their attention, the representative immediately recognized wrong doing and said they would delete these charges from bill, YET COME NEXT DAY, they BACKTRACK on their word and CLAIM they had «worked the numbers» on the original invoice amount to include this service at no additional charge. Why, may I ask, did you not «work the numbers» from the very beginning? These crooks are making up whatever they want as they go along.
Thereafter, the vehicle stayed at the dealer even longer to receive more repairs they claimed they overlooked, at cost to them, however I never received any paper documentation and thereby no warranty or proof of what was performed. They gave me a re-​print of the original invoice however stapled in a different order and tried to convince me it reflected new work performed. After my THIRD return down college road traffic, in attempt to receive a working vehicle, driving it off the lot I now find the turn signals are broken! Now, despite the car being returned a 4^th time, the signals are only at 75% but I’m so tired of going back there, I give up.
Where do you find these mechanics?!
Do you not test drive your cars???
Do not give General Motors and especially Jeff Gordan Chevrolet, Wilmington, NC ANY of your money.

Had a great experience with this dealership, I would recommend them to everyone. I was very straight forward with them about what I wanted in my vehicle and the were able to make it happen. They understood that this vehicle purchase was a want and not a need and they still got me am awesome deal on my Chevy Cruze.

We purchased a 2012 Chevy Colorado back in Feb 2012 from Machen Lewis. We’ve been coming here ever since and have always had great service. All staff are very polite and especially kid friendly with our three children, two of which who are special needs! We will be purchasing our next vehicle from Machen in 2015. We highly recommend Jeff Gordon Chevy for purchasing and servicing.

Brought a car in for repair of a tail light circuit under warrenty already approved by GM customer care., The service Writer said they wanted three hours for diagnostics$ 339, when asked to meet with the shop manager and tech to describe the scope of work they made an appointment for the following morning. When I arrived for the meeting they said they had elected not to work on my car and to take it elsewhere.
I, Having considerable industry knowledge, felt that three hours was a stretch and there wasn’t three hours of diagnostics necessary, perhaps an hour at the longest. That is why I questioned the quote, and from their response they were basing their estimate on a fair amount of embellishment and inaccuracy provided by their Tech.
I feel I caught them in a compromising situation, an inflated diagnostic quote, and rather than work with me they said they would not work on the car.
I wonder if this is the business model that made Mr. Hendrick rich or one that he doesn’t know about.
These people are arrogant with a very poor business acumen, Stay away ! Something is wrong there.

I have been doing business with this dealership for many years with a mostly positive experience. The parts people are great and service has usually performed as expected. I have found lately an apathetic attitude and a lack of responsibility in the service department. Just sayin!

I am dissatisfied with the quality of their staff and efficiency of their service. It is unfortunate that they are a chevy dealer. I am not coming back again.
Brought my car in for service. There were 3 employees in the garage and one other customer. I was not acknowledged for ten minutes. One employee then asked where my car was (at that point it was the only one in the garage) and looked surprised when I pointed it out. Then they told me it would take several hours for a simple oil change and tire rotation. They also reprimanded me for not hearing them tell the customer before me the same thing, even though I was not near their conversation. If it takes several hours for a basic oil change, this dealership should not be in business.
