My first Unilocal review: I can’t really speak to their auto service. However, their UHaul service was some of the best I have ever encountered. Both of their front attendants were well-spoken college students who clearly had been taught the fundamentals in customer service. Both owners I met were attentive to my needs since the corporate entity of UHaul where I made my initial reservations had made a HUGE error that effected my overall plans since I was down in Wilmington without a car and relying on a moving van to get me back to my home in Greensboro. If you are moving something in or out of town in the Wilmington area give these guys a shot.

If you are thinking about this fine business as a place to purchase or have repair work done on your car, go ahead and get lubed up because you are going to be screwed. I brought my car back inside the warranty and was presented with a bill for over $ 200; half of the total cost. No one had my approval they just did it. I had taken it to have the alternator looked at but was told the wire came in clipped and all was well. Now I am having the alternator, battery, wiring harness, and relay switch at a cost of close to $ 600. The mechanic told me had it been fixed I wouldn’t have had all those other problems. He also said that simply the reclipping the wire to the alternator isn’t even a legitimate repair. When I called to talk to the salesman he suggested that had I brought the car to their shop they could have save me some money on parts and labor. At which point I asked if he was high on glue because they screwed me in the first place. So again, if you want a sleazy guy giving you an experience akin to a back alley prostitution transaction without the reach around you should do business here. However, if you want an honest deal with scrupulous business practices then run as far from this place as you possibly can.
