S&L New York Style Deli

Unfathomable disregard for customer service. I’m in the customer service industry, so i expect a certain level of service. Upon seating myself in a booth because there’s no signage to tell me otherwise, I was asked if it’s a problem to move me to a smaller table if she got busy later. Admittedly, my response was a bit rude. I said «It may be a problem for your tip.» That was wrong and I know it. I did not have a chance to aologize. She promptly explained that she «never lets a single in booth,» and that «we’ll see what happens.»
The food (the NYPD sandwhich) showed up faster than any sit down restaurant I’ve ever been in. It was decent enough.
If you’re looking for a side of rude and with your rushed NY style sandwhiches, then come on in. Otherwise, stick to any other lunch spot in town.
It is now 20 minutes since I sat down and there are 4 out of 22 tables occupied. Never again will I eat here, and I work directly across the street.

I have been to S & L numerous times! I love the fast service and the friendly atmosphere. Food is always fresh and hot when you get it or cold if it’s a cold sandwich. lol. Steve, Lou and Tami and their staff a phenomenal. If you have never been there before you need to try it! If there is no parking out front there’s always parking in the back! Love that food.

Sandwiches are pretty good. NY feel to the place. Quick service and friendly staff. I will definitely be visiting again.

Being from NYC and Sicilian makes me I guess somewhat of a food snob-​lol! In other words I know the real deal and I accept nothing less.
I have been here a few times and I have to say this is a New York style deli! I love the fact these guys and girls are from my home town and it warms my heart as well as my stomach.

The servers are so annoying, inpatient and rude. Walked in for lunch with my husband and son. No joke !! In less then 6 min. The waitress came and asked if we where ready to order. I was so annoyed that I didn’t order anything. The waitress looked at me if had six heads. There food is mediocre nothing to get excited for. If it wasn’t for my husband I would step a foot in that place. I don’t do well with deli ’ s or dinners
