The Home Depot

I stopped in to get a swiffer wet jet but couldn’t find it. There was a very nice older gentleman who not only led me to where it was but made pleasant conversation and gave me a few tips on how to use it and what products to use. It was a brief but informative encounter. The store was very clean and there were an ample amount of associates on the floor just in case you needed assistance with anything. I hate hardware stores but if I happen to need anything in the future I’ll be coming back here!

Went in for paint. Spoke with Terry, he could not have been more helpful! Very patient, friendly and answered all of our questions. Excellent customer service.

Customer service was good but we brought a can of paint we had to be matched and the gentlemen at the paint department had no idea how to match it up. We waited for 30 minutes just for him to get another person over for help.

We had a wonderful experience at this location today. A few members of the staff were particularly helpful, professional, and polite. They truly went above and beyond to help my wife and me with a fairly large purchase.
First, George immediately aided in our decision on which lawn mower to purchase (Honda HRR216VKA). Once we had that choice made, we proceeded to do the rest of our shopping. When it came time to check out, George was easy to find and he brought our mower up to the front. At that point, we had some questions about a coupon and Chandra at the Customer Service desk couldn’t have been more professional and accommodating. Once the purchase was complete, George and Tevin were incredibly helpful in loading our items into the car.
We did not have a truck or SUV, so fitting a lawn mower AND a toilet into a Mitsubishi Galant was no easy task. They never complained during the laborious process and even unboxed our mower in order to fit it in the trunk. When everything was loaded up, they disposed of the box and George cut out the UPC in case we needed it for the warranty registration. Right before we left, I offered both George and Tevin a tip, which I have never done at any retail location in the past, but they refused. They simply shook my hand and told me to have a great day.
I hope either the store manager, or a district manager, sees this review, as George, Tevin, and Chandra certainly deserve some praise and hopefully a raise. If all Home Depot employees were as helpful and nice as they were, I would never shop at one of their competitors again.

I tend to frequent this store since it is closer to my home and carries a majority of what I need. The service and inventory here has been very good. Heck I can even get shrubs and plants here which I have had success in growing. I can normally find what I am looking for unless it is something not mainstream. For example, while replacing an older screen door one of the brackets broke and I needed to replace it. Home Depot has a limited selection of parts which cover what they sell. I had to go to a smaller hardware store to get what I needed.
This is another one of those dangerous stores that have you walking out with items you dont need. Be prepared before you walk in. ;-p

I always call the Home Depot my husband’s favorite toy store because he never comes out of there without a purchase. I went in tonight and the staff was so helpful and friendly, the guy explain in detail what i needed and gave me a few pointers. Great store.

Super awesome staff (whom I ran into) that was more than helpful with my projects and went out of their way to make what I needed happen.

The friendliest home depot staff I’ve ever experienced. Big Joe was over the top nice and helpful. I found everything I needed and a few things more. A nice clean Home Depot. I wish every Home Depot was like this one.

This home depot is so ghetto it’s sad. All of the people who work there are more interested in talking to each other than waiting on customers. The cashiers are assholes especially the bitch that works in the garden center. No one will help you find anything unless it’s the idiot who just started and doesn’t know where anything is. Terrible service but plenty of parking– guess now i know why. The only thing more frustrating than actually mulching my while yard was going here to buy the mulch

Normally I avoid chains like they’re the corporate thought bondage they are… this one is different. The folks that work there are über friendly, and really are what service is all about — not in your face, but friendly, informed, out to help you solve a problem or get you thru quicker.
well, the paint department sometimes misses that mark, but other times it is spot on. This seems to be a hard one for any big-​box hardware anyway.
I’m not so impressed with the larger Depots that are out there, because I miss the people from Wilmington.
