Nonprofit nature center featuring 10 miles hiking trails, an interpretive building with a nature store, displays, an interactive display room and an animal observation room. Hiking programs, planetarium shows, classes on birds, turtles, salamanders, snakes butterflies and more. Free admission.

History

Established in 1964.

Nonprofit nature center not supported by government tax funding but by private memberships and donation. Celebrating 50 years!

Super great place for a day out. TWC is suitable for children and adults with programs for all ages, 10 miles of hiking trails, a lake, observation tower and friendly, knowledgable staff. Everything is free unless you want to attend a program or event then there is a very small fee. This place is a self funding nonprofit so it doesn’t recieve any tax dollars and relies solely on donations. Best kept secret in Stark County.
