We love this place and drive 6 miles each way to get it weekly. My favorite– Mongolian Beef. It is spicy and sweet and the onions are cooked to perfection. Wish the serving size was a bit bigger. Want it super sized! My husbands fav is the Spicy Chicken and he likes to get their stir fry veggies instead of rice. The employees are friendly. They have a stamp card. If you buy 10 meals you get one free. Their food is so flavorful and is great quality. I like to call ahead of time and get it to go. It takes awhile otherwise.

This place has the best Teriyaki I’ve ever had… Amazing prices and the spicy Teriyaki was huge potion! In addition, it comes with salad, big rice. And super friendly staff! Service was great, the staff were super friendly. And The best thing is the chicken meat was one of the best quality I’ve ever had and delicious sauce.

One of our favorite teriyaki restaurants! Friendly service and the food is even better. We have actually really enjoyed everything that we have tried here at Joy Teriyaki. We recommend the gyoza and salmon teriyaki! It’s excellent and very nice portions!

Good chicken teriyaki, great short ribs. Call and order if you are picking up and in a hurry, they cook to order so takes a couple mins longer but the food is worth it

I had been here a couple times before and had ok experiences that didn’t stand out in my mind. Went back after seeing a sign for 5.25 chicken teriyaki bowl, and I was in the mood for cheap teriyaki. That being said, I was expecting a tiny bowl and much to my delight, it was a pretty good size for the the price. Service was friendly and quick, and I was happy. Now that they have that option, I’ll definitely be back more often.

Great friendly staff, always clean and inviting. I get their traditional beef short ribs… 1 – 2 times a week. Well worth it. I will go there this weekend if I get the chance.

the food is very basic, but good. The lunch special is a good buy. The woman who i think is the manager is very.nice. she brought me ny food and she noticed i didn’t get a drink, so she offered me a cup. Very friendly. Will come.back.

Nice place food okay, they give you good portions of food the service is good and fast. I love that they give you stamp card buy 12 and get the 13th get free lunch special. The only thing I wish they had a dish that includes veggie and protein instead of charging extra for veggies.

My family loves Joy Teriyaki. I have been going to their gresham location for few years because its close to my work place and excited now they opened Wilsonville location closer to my home.
We’ve also done party catering with Joy many times and always made my guests satisfied. Their hot sauce and salad dressing especially are unique and very tasty ! Not to mention friendly service ! Thanks Joy !

the restaurant looked very new and clean. according to other reviews, im guessing they redesigned the place? but anyways, the environment was good. i ordered chicken teriyaki and it was the best chicken teriyaki ive ever had. i usually dont like chicken teriyaki because a lot of places over grill their chicken an it gets too chewy and hard.
but the chicken was very tender and soft. salad dressing was also delicious. i personally thought they put too much sauce/​dressing but that might just be me. The food was out very fast very impressive. Overall, a quick and tasty place to take care of my lunch or dinner. ill probs check out their other dishes.

I’ve been going to House Of Teriyaki for many many years, and was shocked when it changed over to this place. When I was there, the place was full of disoriented former H.O.T. customers, several of us compared notes after lunch, and the consensus was that this place is a shadow of the former place. Poorly (over) cooked dishes done with no finesse. Nor were they particularly friendly. Arrogant was more like it. «We’re different, we’re better, get used to it» was the attitude I got. Their egrolls are awful and they soak you for drinks and refills. They also scoffed at me when I requested hot mustard. Oh well, I’ve definitely crossed them off my list. It’s a shame, I miss H.O.T.

THIS IS NO LONGER HOUSE OF TERIYAKI 2. DON’T GO. We went in and found out that the owner sold the business. Good for her, bad very bad for us. We ordered chicken and goyza. The chicken was grey and rubbery. I asked if they used dark meat for everything the woman response was «I don’t know» REALLY! The Goyza were clearly from a bag in the freezer and dripping with cooking oil. I will copy and paste this to Joy teriyaki since that is what the new place is called. We walked out with our food basically untouched.

Stopped here expecting a different restaurant to be honest, I guess some sort of change in ownership or something??? I duno but same type of food and I’m HUNG-​AA-​RREEE so lets give it a shot. Updated new menu and signs for everything — good update from last place. Cute young girl taking food orders — good. Very quick to get my food out — impressive. Now the main event, the food! Yeah it was actually pretty good! Low price with good food — yeah I’ll probably be back!
