Business Owner

Dr. Ferdinand Cabrera is the founder and president of Genesis Health Institute which specializes in Functional and Anti-​Aging Medicine. Dr. Cabrera Dr Cabrera started his career practicing traditional internal medicine. His true passion of biochemistry and physiology led him to discover Functional and Regenerative (preventive) Medicine. This launched Dr. Cabrera to achieving his goal of establishing the Genesis Health Institute.

Dr. Cabrera received his medical degree, with Honors, from Cetec University in the Dominican Republic. In 1992 he completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the V.A. Hospital in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Dr. Cabrera is part of a select group of physicians that has completed a fellowship in Functional Medicine. Dr. Cabrera is an active member of the Institute of Functional Medicine.

Currently he is pursuing his Masters Degree in Metabolic and Nutritional Medicine at the University of South Florida. Dr. Cabrera studies Science of Mind, Metaphysics and Meditatio

I have been going here for a few months now & they have the absolute best services. The entire staff is very knowledgable and friendly constantly providing individualized attention to my needs as a customer. You get expresso and water while you wait and the staff makes you feel very comfortable.

From the minute I walked in the door, I felt things were about to get better, and they did. Lol. Dimitri is an absolute delight. His explanations of the different therapies offered are thorough and immediately put one at ease.
I have visited Genesis on several occasions. At the risk of sounding vain, the results have been incredible. Dr. Cabrera explains everything before, during and after the procedure. Follow up has been wonderful. You can tell Dr. Cabrera takes great pride in his work and is extremely knowledgable.
I have been other places that tried to up sell items and procedures. That is not the case here.
I highly recommend Genesis. Treat yourself!

This is an exceptional support network for healthy, vital living. the entire staff is professional, accommodating, caring, and focused on one’s personal needs — even attending to little touches, such as offering cold water or expresso while waiting. I have been supported by the Genesis team for over a year — and wow — they have hugely benefited the quality of my life… I have never felt stronger, more vital, happier, and yes, even sexier! I have been seeing Dr. Cabrera for hormone replacement therapy and anti-​aging fillers. In addition to Dr. Cabrera, I have found Dimitri and the rest of the staff to be incredibly knowledgable and caring. They deliver personalized service without making you feel rushed or pressured.

I visited Dr. Cabrera recently for a laser hair reduction treatment and I was very happy with the results even after the first treatment. My friend had urged me to go and give this type of treatment a shot, and recommended Genesis to me because she lives in Wilton Manors and is a current patient.
While I was there in the waiting room, I decided to check out their website and I did not even realize how many things they can do. I spoke to Dmitri at the front desk, who was extremely knowledgeable and I found out that Dr. C could remove some of my sun spots as well. I did not realize that was something that could even be done.
The good news is, I decided to have a few removed from my shoulders and it worked! I can totally see the difference already. I have to go back again soon for another laser treatment and I am 100% going to have another treatment for my sunspots as well.
I am very satisfied with this doctor and his staff. I recommend them.

Did a course of the HCG diet wih Dr. Ferdinand Cabrera
They explained everything well and were very thorough did labs and horomone check to see if their was any underying medical reasons that might hinder weight loss. The office is super clean and the staff is friendly and supportive .
They offer weight loss support programs after you loss the weight as well.

I purchased a Living Social coupon for services at the Genesis Health Institute. They clearly stated in advance that they have a 24-​hour cancellation policy. I did not cancel my appointment, and lost the entire value of my voucher. They were not flexible and would not give me even a portion of my coupon’s purchase value. While their actions are legal, they are certainly not patient friendly. Buyer beware with this organization.
