Horrible company! Stay away!
Door to door salesmen are very pushy. I ended up scheduling an appointment for an estimate and as the salesman left he said, «you better not cancel this appointment on me.» Grossly unprofessional, borderline intimidation (yes I asked a cop).
I almost decided to go with them, I told them at the estimate I would be interested in a few months after I had some trees taken down. They would non-​stop call me weekly to get me to schedule an appointment. After trying to be nice I got fed up and went with another company. I told them flat out several times I was not interested and went with a more professional company and they still called to argue and push their product.
Fast forward TWO YEARS and they are still calling me all the time. I told them I went with another company and they still try to keep me on the phone. I have had their horrible salesmen actually yell over me while on the phone. Literally yelling at me, not listening at all.
Really genuinely terrible people. Watch out if you see those green clipboards coming down your driveway.

Take it from a professional, its garbage cold calling Jehovah Witness type sales force with no proper window training at all. They make outrageous claims like their windows have a #1 industry rating. They say this with no traces of their product on AMMAs website. It is what it is, cheap vinyl products sold and installed by a cheap hack like work force. Their profits are depended on volume not quality.

Had a young man from this company come to my house today. Said they were doing a roof for a neighbor and I pointed out that I had a new roof. He said they also do windows. I pointed out that I had new windows. He said that my picture window had moisture and he could give me a quote to get that fixed. I told him that I had no money for home improvement at this time and didn’t want a quote. He pointed out that it was a free quote. This exchange went on and on until I said look I am not interested in a quote at this time to which he responded did I want my window to break. I asked him if that was how they got customers by strong arming them to which he yelled to an associate so now we strong arm people and that he didn’t have any problem with any of my neighbors and that he hopes my window breaks. I came inside and called the company to inform them of this exchange and suggest that this individual be retrained. I was told that they are trained to not take no for an answer and that he would have a hard time even knowing who this was. I said really you have a bigger problem as a company if don’t even know where your people are marketing today and gave him my address. When I suggested that perhaps they don’t know what is happening in someone’s life and perhaps should leave a card for possible future business I was told they can’t leave cards with everyone. I will NEVER do business with this company.

If there was a ½ star or negative star I would post it. Pushy is not a strong enough word for the straight in your face attitude. My husband got sucked in at the home show in CT this past weekend. Made an appointment for today and gave my cell #. I don’t answer my cell at work and they called 4 times but left no voice mail. I finally answered and when I said I was no longer interested and for them to not come to my house… the aggressiveness started. He kept saying, «your husband made the appointment» to my «well I am not cancelling it», kept talking over me and when I said to stop calling, he actually had the gall to say, he will call back in a few weeks to reschedule. Needless to say I was yelling for them to lose my number and never call again, and he said he would call my husband as soon as he got off the phone with me and hung up. A true salesmen. I am in sales and never would I approach someone like this.
They will never get my business.

Very salesy. Went to the home show with my wife. A guy steps out in front of us and wouldn’t let us go for the life of him. I was with my wife so I couldn’t tear him a new one. Lots of bull sh-​t came out of this guys mouth. Did a quick search on my phone and saw some really bad reviews. Made an appt. just to shut the guy up and will cancel after. They will give a lot of bull like they are the top rated company for siding and Windows… When asked top rated by who. No answer… That didn’t stop him from saying it 5 more times.

Honestly the best company for exterior remodel I have their windows and I had to say they are the greatest. Great install as well.

So a young man approaches my house and says that his company is doing some work around the block from me. That was lie #1. He asks if we need anything done to my house. My ladder was out, the new door was just installed and the old one was in the process of being taken away.
I told him that I need 2 windows installed ASAP. If his prices were good I was ready to go. He said that they were. Before he even gave me his card I said that if he is a large company then his prices would be too high. I would be paing in cash. Since his crew was on the next block he could give me an estimate.
As it turns out he said that his guys end work at 12pm. That seems very strange. I asked for the addy to see their work. It turns out the it was over 2 miles away.
Without wasting more of your time his purpose was to get an appointment but he was only digging himself deeper and deeper. As we spoke I googled his company and said that we won’t be able to do any business. 10 minutes later he understood. The key words were if I made an appointment the salesman would come and would be told that I had no intentions of using Power Home Remodeling Group. There was soooo much crap comming from this guys mouth I can only guess what the salesman would promice.
If he was honest he probably would have made the appointment.

I can’t comment on their work, but was blown off on an estimate appointment this morning. Received 8 calls from their number, and they hung up each time I answered. This is after my «confirmation» call last night.
If you can’t get in touch with someone to get a bid in, imagine what it’ll be like trying to get ahold of someone when there’s an issue with their work.

Pushy does not describe them accurately enough. I’d say it’s more like bullying/​harassment. They do not understand the meaning of the word NO. They give you the «we’re already in the area and can cut you a good deal». Avoid these people. Do your own shopping around when you want work done and get quotes from multiple contractors. A contractor who strong arms you into getting work done is a contractor who’s going to strong arm you out of your hard earned money.

This company is terrible. Weds a sales man came to my door was pleasant but super pushy. Offered a free look at my windows. I had a baby and a 3 year old standing there watching. So just to get an idea of costs i took an appointment. Saturday 9am. They called 12 or 15 times in 3 or 4 days to «confirm» every time i could answer they hung up right away. Saturday 9am came and went and they never showed. Today i get a «reschedule» call. I said «why would i reschedule when you didnt even show». He blamed me for not «confirming» before the 9am appointment i set only 3 or 4 days before with their call center. I told him it was unprofessional and told him not to call back.

While this company did not do any work on my house, they are annoying and pushy. About 2 months ago they knocked on my door told me about how my roof has dark streaks and did I want an estimate for a new roof? I said no I did not. He continued to tell me they were in the process of putting a new roof on the house on the next block and pointed in a certain direction and was I sure I didn’t want an estimate because the roof really needed replacement. Again I said no and I am planning on putting the house on the market in the spring and I am not putting a dime into it. He continued to go on and on about transferrable warranties and blah blah blah. I said no sorry I am not interested.
Yesterday a different person from this company knocked on my door and again asked me if I wanted a roof estimate. Again I said no and I am planning on selling the house. He asked well is it on the market yet? I said no but it will be going up in a couple of months and I’m not putting a roof on the house. He told me the same story about how their company is putting a roof on a house on the next block and pointed in the same direction as the previous salesperson. Now my neighborhood is small and the street he pointed to has 4 houses and none of them have received or are getting new roofs. So I smell b.s.
I do not like or welcome door to door salespeople, especially ones that are pushy.

I was home from work with a migraine headache when I heard a knock at the front door. I ignored it, but the person continued to knock and ring the doorbell. Thinking a neighbor might need something, I forced myself out of bed and went to the door. It was a Power Home Remodeling Group salesman. He said he was in the neighborhood and wanted to give me some information about his company. (As he was talking, I saw another salesman walk down the street, so they must have been making the rounds.) He asked me a bunch of questions (name, year of house, age of roof, etc.). Then, he handed me his phone so a coworker could talk to me. The coworker asked me all the same questions (name, year of house, age of roof, etc.). After returning the phone, I told him I wasn’t feeling well and had to go. He apologized and said he only needed one more minute of my time. He then asked me a bunch of other questions (How long have we lived at the house?, Where did we live before moving to the neighborhood?, Isn’t this a beautiful area?, etc.). Again, he handed me his phone, and his coworker asked me more questions.
This went on and on for about half an hour, though I said many times that I had to go and I wasn’t interested in having any work done to the roof. They both tried to get me to agree to meet with them the next day so they could take measurements to give me a cost estimate to replace the roof.
I felt harassed and intimidated. I don’t know why I didn’t just shut the door on him. Good thing I refused to agree to a follow-​on meeting and to give him my phone number.
What a horrible company. What terrible people.

These guys take a lot of time to counter the bad reviews online.
This group is full of tricks and lies to keep you talking. I do not trust this company at all. They have proven over the past several years that they won’t take «No“for an answer and will say just about anything to try and wiggle a commitment from you. They later call with «Special Deals,» but I would not let them work on my home even if they were FREE. A poor reputation from actual customers and employees. Tell them to keep walking and then close the door.

These guys wasted 2.5 hours of my life that I will never get back. While at BJs, I was asked if I needed any work done and yes was starting the process to get a new roof. Two salesmen showed up the next day and start with all the stereotypical sales gimmicks of commenting on everything in my house and how great it all is. My wife was in the other room trying very hard not to laugh out loud. They spent a lot of time buttering you up for the jaw dropping price of $ 33,000 for a new roof, but if I signed today, they can do it for $ 29k. Still WAY to high. After pushing back, they «found» additional discounts and got all the way down to $ 23k before I kicked them out. Nothing annoys me more then someone trying to take advantage of me.
I called in a different roofing contractor that was far more professional in his presentation and was not pushy at all with no special price if I purchases that day. He advised me to look around a bit and was confident that they offered the best combination of quality and price, we went with them. By the way, the price was $ 15k, what I estimated from the beginning, and offered everything Power did.
I will never give Power the time of day again and will advise anyone looking at using them to ask how much do you value your time and money because they will take as much of it as they can to get you to buy that first day so that you don’t have the opportunity to find out how badly they are trying to screw you until it is too late.

Power just installed a new garage door, front door, new wood fascia wrapped in aluminum (so the squirrels don’t get in again), new gutters and downspouts, and just 5 windows as I ran out of money. Their products are top quality. They showed up on time and finished when they said they would. The workmanship was professional and top notch. Their warranties are worth the extra money. No one has warranties on their products and labor like Power.
You get what you pay for and I’m very pleased with the end result. The initial consultation is a bit long but it’s so they can give you a full company background and tell you all about the products you are purchasing. You won’t get cheap materials! Their installers are absolutely professional and true masters of their craft.
Put them on your call list if you getting quotes!

Power should be in credit and collections. Your customer service has crossed the line and is now harassment.
We will not use your services so please stop harassing us!

11/​14/​2013 — Relentless solicitors. If you give them your info, they will continually contact you. They don’t understand «No», no matter how you say it, including as another reviewer mentioned — showing up uninvited at your front door.
DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CONTACT INFO!
12÷27÷13 — They called me again today!

Stay away from this company. They force themselves upon you endlessly. Aside from the phone calls and trick pricing (The first time I had any contact with them was more than a year ago) here’s what pushed me over the edge with PHR:
I was sent an email today (9−12−13) from Power and within the email was a link to enter a 25 thousand dollar contest. So I figured, what’s the harm in entering?
I got my answer a few hours later. A sales guy calls me and said that I requested an estimate for windows and siding. And I explained «NO, I entered to win a contest and my choices were for windows and siding». He says «oh… we’ll we need to come down and look at the job anyway». I asked «Why? if I just entered a contest why does someone have to come look at my house»? He continued to try to convince me that someone needs to see my home. What kind of windows do you have now”?
«Did I win? No».
After a few more minutes of me trying to find out why they need to come to my home the man on the phone tells me that I’ll be take off the list.
Every time I’ve received a phone call from this place they’re trying to trick me into buying something, or convince me that I need them.
The management at this place needs a lesson in customer relations.
Do not trust Power Home Remodeling.

My story began when a nice young man knocked on my door asking if I wanted a NO OBLIGATION, FREE ESTIMATE on vinyl siding. As my house could use siding, I agreed. He then called someone else and I had to confirm, on his cell phone, that I was agreeing to have someone come out. They informed me that they would come out and measure up the house and provide me with a written quote good for a year.
Well, let me just say, it went DOWNHILL from there! A what seemed to be pretty nice sales-​guy shows up at my door (though all of the «high fives» were a bit over the top). He started to go through his presentation and I told him my husband and I had to go pick up my daughter from Cheer soon and he responded, «no worries, this won’t take long».
An hour and a ½ later, I needed to leave. I left my husband there with the sales guy. I get home and hour after that and the guy is STILL THERE!!! He obviously waited for me to return home. He then proceeds to «tally» up the handwritten quote (which is merely #‘s scratched on paper). The estimate was INSANE!!! I agree that you get what you pay for but this was WAY out of our budget. I didn’t like the «if you sign up now, you get $ 4,000 off the price» pitch either. I said, you mean to tell me I wouldn’t get this price if I called you tomorrow and he went on to say «we have 60 sales calls a day and if everyone said I’ll let you know tomorrow, that would delay the sales visits we have scheduled for tomorrow». Ummmm, would you really need to come back out here? He replied «yes, there is paperwork to fill out». That’s when I basically told him there was no way I was spending $ 36,000 ($ 32,000 with the «discount») to side my house.
This is when the «nice salesguy» became not so nice. He saw he wasn’t going to make a sale and got downright RUDE! He even sarcastically said «thank you for sticking around for my presentation». I basically wasted an hour drive and my time since you weren’t here for the entire presentation. And, again, he brought up the fact I left. After the second time he said this, I got really ticked off. I responded «Did you want me to LEAVE my daughter outside at her cheer practice»??? Nobody EVER informed me this visit would take almost 3 HOURS!!! HOW UNPROFESSIONAL! I could go on and detail his rudeness but I think I have gotten my point across. I WOULDN’T RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO MY WORST ENEMY! STAY AWAY!!!

Do not give these people your information. Do not let these people on your property. Do not answer their phone calls. They will call you endlessly for months at a time. I got 3 phone calls today from this group! This is after repeatedly asking them to never call me again and filing a complaint with the BBB. I’m about to file another BBB complaint and if they attempt to come to my door again, as they did a couple of months ago I will call the police.
