Diversified Electrical Services, Inc. or also known as «DES» provides electrical installation and repair services to customers in the residential, commercial and industrial areas. With over 30 years experience we have become experts in many areas.

DES employs qualified and experienced electricians, licensed and trained in the safety standards for electrical safety in the workplace (NFPA 70E).

DES will arrive at your site with the appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) to include arc flash safe clothing and tools.

DES Utilizes a wide range of diagnostic tools to quickly and accurately troubleshoot and solve electrical issues and or provide the customer with critical data required for system expansion.

The thermal image camera employed by DES is a valuable diagnostic tool that not only can identify immediate failure issues it can also provide valuable data so that a customer can schedule a repair or replacement needed before the device fails, resulting in power failure and emergency repair costs.

DES regularly uses high quality circuit tracers for safely locating circuits on the premise and for locating underground electrical circuits. These tools eliminate the need to shut off circuits in order to identify them.

DES Can provide power quality and KW measurement with high end industry standard data loggers.

DES Utilizes network cable data qualifiers for premise cabling and can provide OTDR services used for verifying and testing fiber optic cable.

History

Established in 2015.

I started working in the family electrical contracting business in the summer of 1983. After serving in the Army I continued my carreer in the electrical business and started my first business in 1990. I have been instrumental in helping some well known companies recover after the 1994 Northridge earthquake in the Los Angeles are where we providing expertise in correcting electrical safety issues and helped companies recover their productive process and IT infrastructure. We have been on the front line of disasters like the Laguna Beach landslide in Bluebird Canyon where we were key to providing power to temporary waste water to several lift stations, Flash flood disaster in Wimberley Texas in 2015 and have been instrumental in providing electrical services in many similar emergency situations. Electrical contracting has been our family business for as long as I have been alive. The work came natural to me and the challenges were rewarding. I started working in the family electrical contracting business in the summer of 1983. After serving in the Army I continued my carreer in the electrical business and started my first business in 1990.
