History

Established in 1941.

Hired Killer Inc. was originally started in Austin by Dorothy Kerbow back in the fortys as a way for a single mother to earn some extra cash. Her company was called Dot’s Exterminating as she would be there on the «dot» or the treatment was free, she soon became known as the «Hired KIller». A few years later she moved her family to Wimberley, worked at the post office and continued pest control. She later sold her company which was now named Wimberley Exterminating to a gentlemen in Wimberley. The «Hired KIller «name was lost for several decades as the business changed hands a few times. Fast forward to the early 90s and Wimberley Exterminating could still be found operating, just a bit smaller than today. In 1998 myself and my former business partner took over Wimberley Exterminating and continued untill 2004. In 2004 we decided that Hired Killers would be our name and not just the slogan, so we changed it. Today Mr Richter is the sole killer in charge to continue the legacy.
