Worked in marketing & advertising for 15-​plus years. After my twin boys were born grew tired of the travel. Had interest in starting a small business in Winchester center.

Frustrated by the shoe buying process for my twins and baby girl. Difficult to take all three to the mall… in under 2hrs. Customer service in kids shoe category lacking. No place truly catered to the kids. Felt I could offer something different. Something better.

Decided to open my own place. Offer great quality shoes in an environment that was super kid-​friendly and fun… and focused on exceptional customer service and properly fit shoes.

Hired a retail consultant (owned seven Stride Rite stores). Certified on properly fitting kids feet. Learned the ins and outs of the business. Included things to engage the kids — Treat Tree, Hang-​Time Meter, Video Zone, etc. Having an absolute blast.
